I understand it's cheaper and easier for manufactures to use one switch cluster, but all the blank spots remind you off all the options you didn't get. Nice thorough overview. Toyota has certainly stepped up the tech game, I hope they kept up the reliability as well.

Another $50K utility vehicle with a 4 cyl. Nonpower seat, tight on amenities, tight on rear fore-aft room, etc. Really want to take your "50G" vehicle off road and beat it up? This is another great argument for a base Ford Maverick Hybrid to drive to work and home- based chores and livery. Stand up for minimalism and save yer "do-ray-me"! Very well done review , as always!

What's your opinion about the difference in ride quality between the Toyota rear coil spring suspension versus the leaf spring in the GMC Canyon you tested?

Honestly. Not much . I drove them both on smooth paved roads, so I’m not surprised.
