Finally a manufacturer that put a coil spring rear suspension in most of the trims. Not only that but they have ajustable shocks or adaptive dampers. Maybe the Canyon isn't the trop dog now, but the Tacoma my also have an eyewatering price. Toyota didn't have a choice, if they want to keep their share of the market they had to throw everything at it and they did including seats with suspensions. Well done.

Since these are all early, or very early pre production vehicles, I’ve gotta think that Toyota is trying to steal, or keeping potential buyers from buying one of the Chevy/GMC trucks with these early showings. The hybrid Pro and Trail hunter will not show up on dealer lots until this time NEXT year. Hopefully the new 6th generation 4Runner or its replacement will also show up by then. Really hoping for at least mid 25 MPG or better on the highway, where most of the trucks spend 90% of their time.

I saw in another video, that the full reveal, complete with all specifications and prices, is supposed to be sometime in November. There is also a possibility that Toyota is thinking about offering a mild 2-3 inch lift that will be covered by their warranty, which will allow clearance for 35's. As for the 4RUNNER, it supposedly isn't going to be teased until sometime in 2025. I'm not happy about having to wait that long, but what else can we do?

While these design traits contribute to their overall appeal, it's important to note that the appearance of a vehicle is subjective, and what may be perceived as "evil" to one person might be seen as bold or assertive to another. @@HereForAStorm resale value because it hasn’t changed in nearly 20 years. if there’s no new models or upgrades to depreciate the older models, why would you buy new. Measuring Reliability/dependability accross the 3 brands is like comparing a horse to a cow. They’re very different platforms, have different tech, and capabilities, and going back to my point earlier of using the same parts over a long period of time, sharing the parts with other vehicles under the same brand umbrella with little to zero innovation, so of course reliability will be on Toyotas side…but not by a large margin as media outlets like consumer reports like to tout

@@Rinker44 what you’re not realizing is that GM and ford are both trying to copy what the Tacoma is and has been for the last 40 years.
