Some insider knowledge. 😉... Setting the mode to Rider and the map to Track changes the bike entirely. The sport map seems to be entirely useless/pointless, and the Road mode is actually better. Mine smokes the new MT09s too, and by a lot. That linear power curve can be a little deceiving but once it reaches the high RPM it takes off (Rider Mode/Track map). The guys on their MT09s were shocked after finding out how fast it was. 😆

This is the bike I want for the foreseeable future. I test rode the 24 Rs. Amazing bike. I’m coming from a gsxr 600. Can’t wait to get one of these.

@@Rycerz49 I really like this bike. I want one.

@@Rycerz49 it turns in the best out of all the bikes I rode in it’s price point with the riding position being comfortable yet sporty. The V2 streetfighter was too aggressive in comparison, and the MT09 is still to upright and the bars are too narrow. And those brakes are amazing. For the money it’s def the best in class.

How you compare this to the XSR900 you had? I'm in between the two.... the RS cost 4.5k more here, so im leaning towards the XSR but fuck that triumph sound..
@rsv4pilot1143 ай бұрын
@@Halo00yingyang Very similar stats wise. Riding position feels very close. Same type and category. Differences are very small. More expensive but it's because it's a Triumph. Honestly, can't go wrong buying either one.

@@rsv4pilot114 The RS is 20k here and the XSR is 15k. Crazy prices but yeah. Ima get the XSR.

@@rsv4pilot114 I lied. Told my salesman i was gonna buy the XSR for 15k and they gave me a 2k cut on the RS, so paid around 2.7k more and got the RS. Delivery next week.

@@Halo00yingyang Good choice, you won’t regret getting the triumph. I own a 2022 street triple R and a 2025 street triple RS Both amazing bikes

Such a cool bike but the headlights just seem so detached from the rest when you look at it from the side - only thing putting me off

@@rsv4pilot114 Haha ok. I mean from the front they've grown on me a lot already (from finding them shitty to actually liking them :D) so we'll see if it'll be the same w the front...

Sorry, late to the party here. I see a lot of comments about this but I would agree with RSV4 Pilot. See the bike in person. The reason for the extended headlight is that it's a holdover from the Daytona. The Striple, especially the RS, is just essentially a naked Daytona and the headlights and instrument pod, which also houses the ram air intake, is directly mounted to the frame, not the forks, like all sportbikes and as it was on the Daytona (I have a first-gen). On the Daytona, it's just covered by the fairing. IMO, on the Striple, this is better than fork-mounted, especially if you fit a screen. With a fork-mounted set-up, there's always the possibility that a screen can induce some speed wobble. It's a bit of an edge case but that won't happen on the Street Triple. Also, a flyscreen/windscreen seems to largely mitigate the issue of the front looking like a crashed and semi-repaired sportbike. I have a '22 RS with a Puig aftermarket screen, which is pretty effective in the wind and it does finish off the front end. It's a good looking bike and the current generation is even better looking.
