Not just the result but the grit and determination throughout the race to get there. I loved the part near the end where Evan dropped the hammer and passed MK for her finishing kick and the smile that grew across your face Michael. That was so cool. The other cool part..... seeing the pure joy from Cole and Evan in their accomplishment at the finish line and their gratitude for your coaching MK. Awesome all around. It was just too bad Haven couldn't be there with you. I am sure there will be a next race for her where that 3:30 goal will get crushed. Thank you for letting us come along on this inspiring journey with you. I am so happy for all of you. I can't wait to see you tackle your next goals. 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

So glad you got to run with her MK and you are a force of your own and did such a great job Sunday and all of the days of hard work leading up to it. BTW, I kept looking for the standard timing mats too, including at the HM and was surprised there were so few. Still, a really nice race and day. I could have used you in those last 2.5 miles😆 So good meeting you all and hope to see you in the future. Rest up Cole and Evan and bask in your great hard work and now, MK, it's your turn! MK, this was your best vlog ever! You did an awesome job capturing the raw emotions of the day while also providing support and inspiration for Evan, Cole, and the rest of the AHRC participants. Looks like you probably ran enough miles for a marathon while capturing all of your footage lol. You did a great job editing as well. Awesome shoutouts from Floris and Eric. Amazing race day support from Anita, Yohan and the AHRC fam.

you're right hyung. cole and evan worked so hard. (you saw it in person while training with them.) This is awesome! Congrats! I ran my first marathon a couple days ago in Ventura at 3:30. It was a 3 loop course, seemed like it had a lot of rolling hills. Lol.

Thank you very much! Your family’s videos really did motivate me and you all would randomly cross my mind during that run. Haha. Looking for 3:15 at a marathon in Utah in September!

Great job to all of you. Huge improvements over the last couple years. Can’t wait to see you crush your next goals. Haven’s turn to BQ in LA.

The reminding of my dad/coach saying "this mile is for" was actually very helpful for me! It made me run faster and not to stop. I was thinking in my head (if I stop it's going to be hard to explain to that person why I did that) 😂 Anyways, thx for watching the video mistymountains! -Evan Kim
