Why the built-in google map fuzzy, and the letters are so small you can hardly read them ?

Hi there, this appears to be due to the recording quality setting. It looks much more clear in person 🙂

@@acuraofbrookfield It is dark in person as well. I was driving at night and could barely see the screen for some reason it darkened at night.

How do you change the brightness on the screen I noticed at night my screen stays dim and low which it should automatically light up when in a dark setting…I tried checking for the display light and stuff but it’s all at its max is there another way to fix this ?

Hello! Here are two options that I've researched that should be of help. Adjusting the brightness manually: You can use the (+/-) button under the vent on the drivers left side (looks like a mini speedometer) Another option that might work is to go into your vehicle settings, then go to lighting set up, and then you can change the auto interior illumination sensitivity. Of all the reviews of the new 25 MDX, no one emphasizes that Acura has eliminated a Sirius/XM Radio !! You have to Stream it via an App!! Why did they do that?

Unfortunately we had to find out the hard way as well. It seems Sirius hasn't created an app to work with Android Automotive which is what's in the new MDX models. We will make sure to share an update once that happens.

Hi Sydney! For the new updates coming in RDX '25 - with an option for full screen Apple Carplay and Android Auto, would Acura push the same infotainment update to the previous gen models like '23 or '24?

Hi there, as of now we haven't heard any talk of Acura bringing the full screen option to previous model years. But we'll definitely make sure to share news regarding this if it ends up happening.

The google maps interface is so hard to see especially in dark mode. There is no contrast and if I can’t see it clearly I won’t be able to use google maps. Please tell me google will update maps with more contrast and the ability to use light mode at night. I can’t read the name of the streets in both light and dark. Terrible design. I am so disappointed. If I had know the maps were going to be this poor I wouldn’t have purchased the vehicle, although I love the 2025 MDX. Please fix google. 😊

Sorry to hear that, I believe you might need to reset the brightness of the multimedia display. Please let us know if you're still having troubles.
