Love it! I ordered 3 different scions to graft on my tree too this year. I'm excited

By the way, I'm selling scion for Tennosui which is a highly fireblight resistant alternative to Hosoui. See my video review of the variety from last summer.

I'm not sure which rust you were having issues with. With apple cedar rust and hawthorn cedar rust, I don't think a pear can reinfect itself. The spores from infected leaves and fruit have to infect a juniper or cedar as an intermediary host. The best way to resolve the problem is remove all cedars and junipers, especially red cedar, Juniperous virginiana, from the area.

I don't want to take any chances with infected leaves all over the ground. Scabs could be a huge potential set back.

Did you buy your trees or grow them from seed.
@KhangStarr9 күн бұрын
I bought them. There is one I did not show that I grew from seeds, it's in a container. I will show it in the next video.

I just purchased a shinko and pineapple pear tree from Home Depot!

Shinko is great, you will love it! Most blight resistant of all my trees.
