Loved this episode. Huge props to Brian for dishing out on Nike and bad history especially to women. I won't even buy my favorite team's baseball jersey because of the Nike logo. I didn't understand the whole women's shirt movement. As a woman myself, I'm always for supporting women in our sport and highlighting more of the pack but this felt heavily influencer-based which makes me cringe. To each their own! I'm from AZ and will be very biased in saying we have the best trails! Running past saguaros never gets old. Thanks guys!

Crazy to talk about Satisfy and not mention their outrageous pricing. Charging 420 dollars for a pair of shorts makes me want to puke.

If my goal were a comprehensive overview of satisfy, I would address the pricing. In this episode I’m just saying that those who were with them from the beginning (2016) will publicly separate themselves from Satisfy.

cant get down with satisfy and i dont think anybody cool will be wearing it. by knowing the price we know that people who buy it put thaaaat much importance on wearing the "cool" brand and that is inherently uncool. i would be embarrassed to wear it

I hear you. To each his own, imo. That’s a good commentary on the pricing. Inherently if someone wants to pay that, go for it. But we all know you’re paying 4x for clothing when we’re out there. And why?

First time watching. Women’s race coverage thoughts is a bad take! Ultras are SO LONG. There’s plenty of time to cover everyone to the max. If two things actually conflict chronologically? Just go to a replay. And, by saying you’re gender neutral, that is itself a position in favor of the status quo. Makes me really question how backwards your politics are in general.

Sorry, that may have come off as shitposting in the end, which it genuinely wasn’t meant to be. More just that trail and ultra running have a certain inclusive culture around them generally, in my experience, and this take against here for the women’s race feels unnecessarily exclusive. I don’t know anything about you guys, just popped up on my algorithm for an indoor bike session. I don’t know your politics. Also, I’m pretty sure women’s soccer (NWSL) is completely independent of any men’s league.
