I test drove one of these with the 3-liter engine. Sure looked great and the spec sheet was good. Very shortly into the test drive though, I just wasn't feeling it. Came back to the dealership and they had an Argent Silver 2024 CT5-V sitting on the lot. 30 seconds into that test drive and I was sold. Still going through the break-in period now. Completely different car.

The V is such an underrated sedan. The 3.0TT is legit. Fast, sounds good, and if efficient as well. Hard to beat for the $$

Just picked mine up.. nothing but great things to say… the technology is awesome… the hypercruise is UNBELIEVABLE… only complaints are the weak back massage…. The shift takes a little getting used to…and the steering wheel kinda obstructs the view of somethings like the start button… the fob is pretty bad… and would definitely have preferred the old Bose system

Congratulations on the 40,000 . . . on your way to 100,000 !!! I don't always agree with your "preferences" ( I'm never going to like black trim or black wheels on anything ) BUT, I do agree 100% with you about the old gauge cluster - especially on the "V" model. I also would never spend this much money for a car and NOT get the 3.0, with it's same torque as the V6 "V" model ( mostly because it comes with the "harder shifting" transmission that you like so much . . bah, bah, BAH !!! Hopefully you can get one of these 2025's with that engine in it to test. This one is painted in my favorite color with my favorite wheels, too.

Much prefer this to the previous gen. This is the perfect trim too. Not all cars look good with crome but Cadillac have nailed it. I wish they were available in Australia Edit. Ok, just finished watching it all. Great review, you've just got yourself a new subscriber 👍

I like this new refreshed front end. I didn't like that the DRL was split. I like the DRL all as one strip. I also like the hands free decklid. Nice feature. Like you, I am not a fan of the big screen. But I guess a person would get used to it. I currently drive a 2024 CT4-V and prefer its dash and screens. But that is just my opinion. I am sure people love the new screen... Cheers, Reid.

I like both versions but I think the 2025 looks more like a Cadillac with the new front headlights. Also the cool animations and 33 inch display make me really want to buy the V version once it is released.

It's easy to spec your dream Cadillac CT-5 V on the Cadillac website. Mine would definitely have the Technology and Premium Luxury, with the V6. The jump to the V Blackwing is quite a bit. But if you have the cash, I'd wait for that because it's going to be something very impressive. Either way, you'll get a great, luxurious car, lots of tech, with some sporting credentials. Go spec your own, it's pretty fun to dream.

I think you've let us know exactly what the car is about. I am not impressed with the price of that car. I have a truck that has more options. Then this car and it costs the same. And I love my interior seats. There tan and navy blue. My truck is white. It's a Dodge limited and I paid 56000 for it. This car does not have as much stuff as my Dodge. It's got a double sunroof you are not selling this car for what it's worth so good luck to the people that find this car, I'm also 6 to a 170 pounds and I have 34 inch legs no way. Can I drive this car?
