Tremor trim level is definitely the “sweet spot” for a lot of buyers that don’t need all the extra components of the Raptor. 👍🏻

Raptor can't tow.... tremor can do 3500kg... with a similar capability of the Raptor offroad wise... thats the appeal... sucks though that only the everest gets the 3L diesel

@@arghone not really designed for it especially with a petrol high revving engine and soft off road focused suspension that sags at the back easily. It can tow if you want to be technical, a car can even tow if you wana go down that rabbit hole, but it’s not ideal and focused set up for that.

​@ev0wat I never said they are a focused tow vehicle. Just sick of people spouting bullshit that they can't tow. They definitely can tow. Are there better choices if you are towing a massive boat or camper frequently? Definitely. My Raptor only sags 20mm with my 2.3t boat on the back and tows *perfectly* fine. Has more than enough power and torque down low. If it's sagging like crazy, it's the trailers weight distribution. Mine sits 👌 All my buddies were like don't get a Raptor, they are shit at towing, the suspension is shit blah blah blah. Glad I didn't listen to any of them.

Doing some research on the bi turbo 2.0 it has great reviews very reliable if proper oil used and changed before recommended and the timing belt changed earlier also

The flex on it for a leaf rear is pretty crazy! Just ordered a new raptor but id probably recommend one of these to mates who don't drive as hard as I do for sure.

It's suspension upgrade includes a thicker leaf spring pack, as well as the Bilstein remote reservoir. Normal Ranger have 3 leafs plus carry leaf, while this gets 5 leafs plus the carry. It's basically a factory ready touring vehicle

so the tremor ranger comes out in a 2 litre but the everest tremor comes with a V6. Ford would sell more tremor, fx4, wildtrak x with a v6

@@arigold2654 Wait until they make the 2025 AU Raptor EURO6 compliant, the power will drop from 405hp to 292hp like the UK version, sales will basically stop overnight, EURO6 compliance, the best way to kill all new car sales, this Tremor is EURO6 and it's the slowest Ranger in th e line-up with the "same" engine, over 13 seconds 0-100, that's pathetic while using the same amount of fuel as the V6.

Mate i have loved watching your channel for years, but this vid feels like you read a script handed to you from Ford. The model seems to be aimed at people who dont know what they want. Is a 2L option going to sway a raptor buyer or an XLT V6 buyer? Love the content, please keep up the hard work (especially effie videos) but also dont be swayed by industry pressure.

I think this hit's the sweet spot, at $77,000 it's better than anything Toyota is offering but Ford sticks the middle finger to the Ranger buyers by only offering V6 in the Everest version, even with the crap 4cyl I'm sure these will sell out, offering 4Cyl is to clear inventory of these engines because they can't build enough V6 with the demand for it, 13sec 0-100 my pushbike is faster than that, I will wait for the V6 version to come out as a permanent offering, this initial build is just testing the market IMO as South Africa has no limit on numbers for these, TREMOR has been offered in the US as a standard trim on F150 for years, Ford AU would be crazy to not offer it as a permanent option

@@TyFenwick The only reason it won't sell quick is because they put the wrong engine in it, and to make it worse they put the right engine in it's sister, Ford got the formula right for someone who wants a capable vehicle out of the showroom with Raptor only colour option, metal side steps, black interior roof lining, better suspension 26mm lift, would have been better with 50mm, decent tires, AWD, reverse assist, trail turn, they just stuffed up with the engine, if they had offered V6 I believe all 1150 would already be spoken for.

Everest Tremor gets 3L V6 and (optional) factory ARB stealth bar and ARB bash plates... Ranger Tremor gets.... none of that ... 2L diesel and ARB stuff needs retrofitting ... how Ford still manages to be a shit company for its customers is beyond me... shut up and take my money... but no - why would a customer want any of that in the ranger....
