I mean, look, how unfair as hell are the Grammy Awards? I’m sorry, but whoever called this show "the most important night in music" was way off. This generation's music isn’t great, and the Grammys are more unfair than ever. Even when we had truly fascinating music in the past, the Grammys were still [mostly] unfair as hell. They often gave awards to people who didn’t deserve them. Today, it’s even worse. In this day and age, they seem to do that even more. [In my opinion], we don’t have much good music to choose from [no disrespect], so it’s harder to nominate truly great songs. Back in the day, there were usually strong nominations, though some people deserved more nominations. But even then, the winners often didn’t feel fair. On top of that, they don’t even seem to follow their own rules. This award was established to celebrate artists for their talent and achievements, but they often overlook those who truly embody that purpose. I believe it’s both nepotism and voters who are just clueless and ignorant. There’s definitely a sense that some shady practices are going on behind the scenes, whether it’s industry connections, favoritism, or plain old nepotism. If that’s not the case, then the problem lies with the voters themselves. It often feels like they don’t know the difference between true talent and talentless appeal. Too often, awards go to artists who may not be the most deserving, while those who truly showcase talent and artistry are left behind. It’s frustrating to see how these biases affect the outcome, especially when it feels like the system is stacked against real talent. This combination of nepotism and clueless, ignorant voting is what makes the Grammys so unfair.
