Here's everything you need to know about the 2025 Lexus LS 500 & LS 500h. I still recommend the LS 500 F Sport RWD but the ES 300h will serve many families for much less. See my 2025 Lexus ES Video: • 2025 Lexus ES.. Buy It...

Still have my like new 48k mile 01 LS430, I will never let that go. Plus the V8’s are a thing of the past. Love your channel, and your video’s of the LS cars from years ago, made me pursue my mission on finding the cleanest LS430 I could find at the CORRECT price. Lots of love from Las Vegas.

Amazing car. Precisely why I picked up an LX 570 with only 22k miles on it recently. Stands head and shoulders above its competition (off-road capable, body on frame SUVs).

I’d have to disagree. The executive trim is the only trim to get. The F sport seats are stiffer and more harsh on the back, the F sport also negates the massaging seats for the front and rear!

@@AbsolutMassager yes you def loose out on some special attributes but at that point you’re really overpaying for this and loosing out on the quality this car deliver best which is the drive
@AbsolutMassager
@AbsolutMassager 14 күн бұрын
@@MeynMotorGroup I mean the only people really overpaying is the OG owners. I was able to find Executive trim 2019/2020 models for $44-50k used with low miles on a few of the auto selling platforms. The annoyance is due to the executive trim not being an actual trim like the F sport I have to Wade through endless car listings to look for the specifics that give away that it’s an executive trim, easiest identifier being the rear tablet armrest.
@MeynMotorGroup
@MeynMotorGroup 14 күн бұрын
@@AbsolutMassager yes I know exactly what you mean not being a trim level it is a PAIN to find a luxury package LS 😅😂 need to do a lot of sorting but are the wheels different with the luxury trim? That would help in finding one
@AbsolutMassager
@AbsolutMassager 13 күн бұрын
@@MeynMotorGroup sadly thing is the 20” chromes on the executive package were optional for lower trim models at a premium (like $1-2k). Giveaway is the armrest shape, even with our up, is a different shape and I believe the leather seating might be diff. I do know the LS F sport trim seats are more padded and stiffer, feeling closer to the GSF seats

Great work! Kevin, would you ever consider buying an LS in the CPO market, or is that a bad idea?
@MeynMotorGroup
@MeynMotorGroup 15 күн бұрын
@@notsodelusional I have no issues buying one CPO as long as it’s covered under warranty it’s fine but sadly those warranties only last for like 2 years so you would either have to pay to extend or sell which at that point would be like leasing a car anyways 😅

Great video! How does the latest LS compare in quietness and ride comfort to the LS 430 (both without air suspension)? I am an original owner of a wonderful 2006 LS 430, which has spoiled me for a comfortable ride. At some point I'll need to get a newer car, and I'm wondering if I'd be happy with a current LS 500, or perhaps a G80/G90 or Audi A6/A8, or an A6 Allroad if I decide I need more space for cargo. I value ride comfort very highly, and don't need sporty driving.

@MeynMotorGroup lol darn, I suspected this might be the case when comparing the 430 to the 500. How do current Genesis or Audi compare to the 430?
@MeynMotorGroup
@MeynMotorGroup 11 күн бұрын
@@shannaerickson6148 a G90 is epic but costs a lot you would need a substantial discount for that to be worth it. Audi A8 is worth looking into. Mercedes E class is amazing but you would have to put up with that screen. Would genuinely look into the Luxury & UL version of the ES

Hi Kevin, which one would you choose; 2018 Lexus NX 300 at 72K miles (17 grand) or 2016 Lexus ES 350 at 76K miles (18 grand)?

Great review. I find these models depreciate much more quickly than other Lexus models. What can you tell us about the long term reliability of that twin turbo v6? Also is the 0-60 really 4.6? I thought it’s 5.4 per car and driver

Sales would improve if they used their existing V8 in the LC in this car. They will never sell over 30K units a year like in the old days but they could crack 5,000 units with the V8. I have owned 3 LS430s. All were excellent cars that were a joy to drive.
@MeynMotorGroup
@MeynMotorGroup 14 күн бұрын
@@texan176 that’s true it would help but there’s two problems, putting the 5.0 in the LS would actually make it a cool/desirable car and would lead to sales figures of at least 5,000 units two things Lexus has no interest in accomplishing

The only car in this class that I’d ever consider is the Genesis G90. The S-Class is overrated, 7 Series is polarizing, A8 is meh, LS 500 is very much outdated and that 3.4L engine has terrible reliability issues proven by the countless recalls. The G90 isn’t perfect but it definitely punches way above its price tag and class.

I really dont know how Toyota could financially justify a full redesign of this ....they have sold so poorly in the last several years. Mercedes sells 3X-4X more S class cars at a higher price than the Lexus LS. Ditto..with the G90( which I own)

Lexus LS how far they have fallen, this car is an utter failure for Lexus, I do not get how they keep selling this with upgraded tech and give auto close mirrors but the RC and IS won't get them and get neglected. Wondering when are they going to kill the line which started Lexus as a brand.
