Good thing 1 out of every 1,000 owners will ever take this thing off road. It’s just for appearances.

An Offroader with a CVT. Did Nissan even install a CVT cooler for overheating or early failure?
@Scoobawoo3 күн бұрын
probably not and thats why they always prematurely fail on their cars

This is where I'm starting to take issue with these surface level reviews. Like Broski only has the cars long enough to see if they look nice? Can't look under? Can't learn a little about the mechanical? Didn't even mention tire and wheel sizes. Ground clearance? Open/limited slip/locking differentials? I love his older stuff reviews but he leaves too much to be desired on these new car reviews.

@@SecretlySeven Most buyers don't care about that, and those that do can look up the spec sheet on the manufacturer's website.

Nissan with a CVT is a hard pass for me. Been there, done that, still regret it.

There's an Altima with 180k on the original CVT in my family. I have no idea how it survived. The whole car sounds like it's about to shake itself to pieces at any moment but it's still going.

@@bwofficial1776 maybe they changed the transmission fluid every 40 or 50 thousand miles in it ???? Great maintenance is the key to helping a vehicle last . It seems that the altima has bad engine/transmission mounts. ( car sounds like it is shaking itself to pieces )

Nissan should have stuck with the n/a 2.5L engine and the Pathfinder 9 speed auto. Would have been a banger, but they love to cut corners.

That 1.3 turbocharged 3 cylinder engine would fit nice in a Nissan Sentra SR or Versa SR not the Rouge with the 201 horsepower, 235 pound torque with a 6 speed manual, it can compete with the Honda Civic Si and Toyota Corolla XSE. It'll be like the 1994 Nissan Sentra SE-R 2.0 N/A engine back 30 years ago. Nissan got it right on the 3 cylinder turbocharged engine, but wrong choice in the Rouge with that trashy CVT.
