I want reliability. That's really all that matters to me with all these good HP/TQ nunbers. People dont want issues. That's the name of the game.

100%. no one gives a $hit about new cab, bed, heck anything, if it doesn’t improve reliability. All the other stuff is superficial.

I disagree. Most vehicle purchases, even trucks, are done based on numbers and fanboyism. Very few people actually research problems. I'm a diehard GM fanboy and bought a 2020 F150 for my business. The 2.7 was a no-brainer vs anything else on the market reliability wise in 1/2 tons. Nobody else does that.

@hitempguy I do that. I learned the hard way, so I research everything when it comes to cars now. The issue is when the problem becomes apparent after your purchase, which sucks. All the guys that have trucks around me have different brands. I have a Ram 3500, and my best buddy has a Denali 3500, and his next-door neighbor has a Ford F350. All we talk about is the reliability issues that each brand has. I do agree that people buy on numbers, but that's not a smart way to buy IMO.

I want to purchase a Limited Longhorn but need to have the option of deleting the passenger screen and full digital Instrument cluster. I also do not want the 14 inch center stack screen but instead want the 12 inch screen. I would like the option of have the older style headlight option instead of the new design. Also, I want the option of choosing what color interior and exterior of my choice, but the website does not give me these options when building it up.

I feel the refreshed Cummins inline 6 with the new ZF 8-speed is a winning combo. They finally addressed the weak points of the Cummins and made it WAY easier to service. I think a $2k price increase is very reasonable.

Went back to iron block and kept roller cam?? Solid cam with adjustable rockers like the ISB is far better. Did they fix the egr system?? Still not there yet.

@CTECH-REVIEW I run western haulers m2 106 with ISL 8.9L AND 3000 Allison. I got tired of the 3500 trucks from the big 3 breaking down all the time. It's sad because I would love a 2500 diesel p/u for daily use and pulling my car/toy haulers.

I hope the Ram Cab configuration never changes. I will wait till the 2028s come out. The 8spd is way overdo. It’s about time.

@ agree 100%. It’s all it ever needed. A 2012 Ram 2500 before all the DEF BS would have been nice. I could only imagine the fuel mileage. My 5.9 Cummins would love it as well.

Ram is under using the potential market for the megacab as a family vehicle. For a family of 4, with a 5k boat trailer, we would need the 3500 srw, which is fine but not with that suspension.

I’m so sick of tech and the lasted cool look. I wish RAM made an analog model wish real heavy bumpers (eg Ranch Hand), a front hinged hood like some semi’s have, the entire engine in front of the fire wall, hand crank windows, more payload, etc. I would buy that. They can keep their new truck. Took me 6 years to mod mine to OK.

Ram really should just done a whole truck. The cab is just too small compared to the competition. The bump in specs is nice but not going to be enough to take the crown from Ford or GM

It looks the same only thing different is the headlights I'm talking about the outside looks basically the same. Granted yes some changes but basically the same payloads and towing Ram should be getting better payload and towing that's just my opinion Ram should've made a different cab meaing a whole new cab it's the same cab as before. And also bed lengths aslo should've changed this is just my opinion in this.

2024 better get one all the bugs have been worked out.new engine and transmission are going to take years to get dialed in.

I'm big time disappointed. I don't believe they have done enough to keep them competitive. We had all 3 in our fleet and now have 2 Ford 7.3's and 2 GM's, gas and diesel. I believe GM offers slightly more for the price than Ford and I am more of a Ford guy and maintain all of our trucks. There is no reason to switch over other than the tranny if I were to get a diesel. Unfortunately, they are not competitive in price. 0-60...6.9 is still slower than the PowerStrokes 6.7 H.O... 6.1. The plus is their interior is nicest then GM and Ford trailing. Big incentives is what I believe will get them sales.

7 Reasons NOT to buy a 2025 RAM 2500-3500. Full digital cluster, Passenger Screen, front headlights, 14 inch center screen, lack of interior color options, lack of exterior color options, lack of a winch and skid plate option.

That 6.4 gas payload and towing is low and bad compared to Ford 7.3L my 22 F350 XLT LB 4*4 WITH BASICALLY EVERY OPTION HAS A PAYLOAD OF 4497 AND CAN TOW MAX GOOSNECK OF 19,700😂😂😊

It is time Ford/GM/RAM step up their 3/4 and 1 ton game. I am a business owner that buys trucks. I am also a family guy. WHY DO ALL TRUCK MANUFACTURERS IGNORE THE BACKSEAT?? RAM does a great job with their 1500 back seats....heating and cooling...LARGE pull down middle console...reclining seats....Then they forget the larger trucks. WTF? As they say, happy wife, happy life. That goes for the kids in the back as well. GIVE US THE SAME! Time to start ASKING THE QUESTION KZbin Creators

Its because the 2025 Ram HDis the 15+ year old platform they have been running off from where as the Ram 1500 got the new platform in 2019. Ram needs to step up on the HD and bring more to this truck.

@@CTECH-REVIEW Nissan and 'Yota have no incentive. They have a grip on the foreign markets and trucks are not popular their as family vehicles. In the US, the truck is a family vehicle now. I am no engineer, but if RAM can make a back seat of the 1500 as good as they do, just transfer it to the 2500 and 3500. I would instantly buy one if they did.

Biggest reason not to buy. Those diesel emmisions are a fucking nightmare and you will pay up the ass for replacing it if you want to keep making your engine eat its own shit. Delete it which is getting more expensive and may I also add…it’s a stelantis product…once you do get that Cummins running right the entire truck goes to shit around the powertrain. Coming from a ram Cummins owner, listen to me gentlemen. Save your money
