Not digging the quilted Charmin interior, or the expanses of piano black. Exterior is marginally more exciting than the accord - which is the epitome of bland.

Nice but all that dash piano black, really? Also, cloth on the dash and doors. I am thinking that will show wear. I like the AWD and a spare. Will have to drive it against the accord next year when I am ready to buy.

Gloss black plastic has a very soft finnish. Every time you wipe it, even with soft fabric cloth, it gets microscratches. Give it a year or 2 , it will look all scratched up.

My 2005 SE V6 is much better looking. Deal breaker is no gas hood lifting strut, and no storage box in truck left side to bring home jug milk . Take a look at 2005 SE V6 if you want to see superior design both inside and outside.

The Honda Accord has a bland interior and exterior.. You cannot even get home link on the top trims.. Their dash is very plain . Looks like a low end Civic. The cloth seats are underwhelming.. The Camry is always the sales leader..

Ive been a Honda fan for years but I also agree. Their quality and reliability has come down. Can’t get a 360 camera on a top end CRV, DI without port, CVT… etc. Toyotas are boring to drive but Id take one over a Honda now.

Also you get rear A/C on XLE trim for new Camry. For Accord you must go to top touring. I don't take some ideas saying back seat doesn't matter. I am buying a family vehicle and Accord had such a generous leg room for back seat. I don't think the designer didn't consider the back seat at all. And they even didn't give you an A/C until the top trim😅

True. But the Camry has the edge on exterior styling, much more powerful drivetrain, and available AWD.

The AWD alone makes this better than the Accord. Plus Camry looks much better than the Accord. Which looks like a bar of soap. The interior is a nice improvement. The quilting isn’t my favorite. But can deal with it.

Sedans are kinda dead in the water, but it’s nice . That cloth material on the dash is going to get dirty real fast and look nasty especially in a light colour . The piano gloss black surfaces on the centre console will show fingerprint marks etc , they really should only be on the dash .I’m also not a big fan of CVT which will most probably come on the Hybrid . The ceiling height looks kinda low, especially with the sunroof and I’m 6.1 so that won’t work and the back seat space could be more generous . Overall a decent job though.

Interesting. Rear end should be a hatchback rather than a trunk. Hope AWD version available in plug in - and with enough regen to enable one pedal driving.

Toyota is always better than Honda starting with dealership and Honda’s engine/transmission design. Honda is good but Toyota is the best

I hate the fact, Toyota does not install Bose speakers, it has been cheap JBL speakers on most of the cars, it is a piece of junk. I like the fact Camry comes with hybrid all wheel drive. I have been driving accord for last 16 years and I bought Civic 2024 for my daughter. Soon I will be on the market for new car, and get rid of my old accord. I love the sound quality of in the Civic 2024 with Bose speakers. Come on Toyota, come out this cheap JBL speakers, have some respect for buyers.

Toyota Industries said Monday it fabricated data on the torque output of diesel engines it makes and supplies to Toyota, resulting in a partial halt of shipments of its cars. An independent investigation has expanded to uncover "irregularities" in data for safety tests on 64 models, including 22 sold under the Toyota brand. It means Daihatsu, which first fessed up to rigged data in April and again in May, joins the massed ranks of shamed Japanese automakers discovered to have been concocting test data. Daihatsu (TOYOTA OWNED) stopped all shipments at home and abroad last month due to safety test rigging. Hino motors (TOYOTA OWNED) admitted in March 2022 to submitting fraudulent emissions and fuel economy data to transport authorities.

Tell that to all the 1.5 L turbo owners who are blowing head gaskets which also destroys the Turbo.....Honda won't warranty them. All repair costs are on the owners.

Toyota ecvt in hybrids have no wear parts like belts or chains found in all other types of CVTs like Hondas have.

Honestly, I think the dash is just really, really, ugly. I despise the quilted section of the dash dipping down on the left side. Why? Gloss black has become typical on dash & console. But gloss black where the window buttons are? lol. Why? Anyway, I’m just glad we still get a few sedans and one who hatchback (VW GTI/R). So that’s good. Soooooo tired of over sized SUVs and trucks. What’s wrong with Americans? It’s just so weird.

I would consider a Toyota over a Honda but for the purposefully ugly front grill design on Toyotas these past few years. Not to mention Toyota just has cheaper looking interiors. They are great vehicles but aesthetically... just no.

Toyota is for poor middle class people…… nothing is great in Toyota. I bought a RAV4 XLE PREMIUM (with weather package). Trust me there is nothing premium in RAV4. Bumpy bouncy and noisy ride quality, 3rd class plastic used for interior, brakes are not good enough and turning radius is horrible. Not recommended for anyone.

Rav 4 is based on the Corolla platform. Highlander is on the Camry platform.

Looks very dated inside as usual in Toyota cars. Look at that cheap trunk hinge,not hydraulic in car competing against Accord? Honda Accord is truly futuristic.
