Thanks for the vid. I have a 2020 Corolla SE. Love this car. I wish the hatchback XSE had the exposed exhaust tips out the back like my SE. That would look so cool.

I appreciate you talking about the JBL sound system; I was curious about the difference between that one and the one that comes with the SE. A good sound system is top priority for me when it comes to cars, since I love any chance I can get to drive without my kids so I can blast my rock/metal music to my hearts content. 😂 I really want to get myself one of these Corolla hatchbacks in a few years and will probably go with the XSE. One major drawback of the Corolla Hatchback is its rear seat legroom is much shorter than the Corolla sedan version. Otherwise it's a great car, 100% made in Japan, but I'd go for the XSE model over the SE, as the XSE looks sportier and comes with wireless phone charger. After all, what's the point to have wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto if the car is not equipped with wireless phone charger?

I own a SE corolla hatchback with the nightshade package. the SE and the XSE are genuinely the same besides some tech differences. Everything overall in both cars that i tested were relatively the same thing. The XSE just has heated seats, powered seats, wireless charging, the digital cluster, speakers, etc. My SE only has the wireless charging but i still love it!

I have a 2024 hatchback SE. Only complaint is the gas pedal and first direct gear does not feel well sync / match, a bit disconnected from what the trans behaves in CVT range

Still built in Japan and already released 2025 models. 25’ sedans haven’t been released yet but they’re built in the US

Check it for yourself but I think the HEADROOM in the front seats is better in Corolla than in Mazda 3 and Civic. I bought 2025 Corolla because i am 180cm tall.

I tried the sports mode both at the shifter and paddle shifters and I noticed something... whenever you hit the brake it downshift automatically is that normal?? Because on my 4Runner it won't do that you're in full control.

We got left behind in the US. I’m in Ireland for a trip and driving a Corolla hybrid hatch rental car. I wanted to buy one after the first day, so I went looking ,and no hatch hybrid. Boo!

I got my 2011 Ford Fiesta hatchback as my first car. But now, she's really showing her age. As sad as it makes me, I think I have to get a new car. I really love this model, but I'm also going to be moving soon. I'm wondering if I should stick with what I know (small & zippy, because it helps me avoid accidents) or just be like everyone else and get a compact SUV

The vast MAJORITY of new cars are no longer for the regular working class stiffs like you and me. The exception may be Nissan and Mitsubishi (who both still have a very select few cars under $25K), but very few others. The rich grow RICHER, while the gap keeps widening between us. Sad, but true. 😢
