Stylish, practical cars like this XSE with gentle carbon footprints, are great for earth. And still reasonably priced.

I was paying attention in the beginning when you mentioned Tampa and then when you started the drive, I thought to myself that street looks very familiar, rewinded the video and it made sense

I bought a Corolla Hatchback SE a month ago. I find it rides well, is pretty quiet and gets terrific fuel mileage. I need a hatchback for hauling things (while my van is in for repairs). It is fun to drive, easy to park, and the base radio actually sounds very good. Things I do not like much are the center display, which is too small and too dim in daylight for my 73-year-old eyes. I really dislike the graphics on the center display. The use of the space is bad. Words you want to read are too small, and/or even smaller and GRAY! UNREADABLE at a glance, therefore, dangerous. The seat side bolsters are objects that one must crawl over to exit. The plastic rocker covers may make the vehicle more aerodynamic, but I defy anyone to exit without touching them with the back of your legs. It will be impossible to avoid getting your pants wet on rainy days, or heaven forbid!, slushy conditions.

I love these hatchbacks they're great for around town while being practical and economical yet still fun to drive, not to mention the N/A engine is where it's at for reliability that's still easy to maintain. I currently have a 2016 Accord with 218k miles on it that'll need to get replaced soon, this is looking like a pretty nice option.

It looks better in silver because of those silver trim pieces down below. I don’t care for them on a dark car.

The 18 inch tires make the corollas way too loud on the highway. They should have went with the 16 inch for a quiet ride.

If you live in SoCal where nobody uses their turn signal, that car would be yanking everybody back into their lane when shifting lanes.

My last hatchback was an ‘89 Honda Accord; with a Rockford Fosgate HX2 12” subwoofer. I’m waiting on my 2025 Corolla XSE. I have a Sundown Xv.3 12” subwoofer I will be putting in it. Hatchbacks sound so nasty with a sound-system in them I am quite eager to get my new Corolla with Finish Line Red paint!

Do you think that the GR would be worth paying a few hundred dollars extra per month? This looks great, but if the car lasts me 5+ years, then that price difference isn’t as crazy if the car is worth it.

All these Toyota versions are 29 grand and up in my area I think everyone is snatching the base models and mid trims, I’d never in my life pay over 30 grand for a Carolla these interiors are very cheap plastic, no leather all synthetic
