Hello Gary! You cleaned up with these packages. The Patagonia goes for 22$ at my LYS as I use it often for crochet scarves. It softens up a lot when you wash it and the stitch definition is beautiful. I will definitely be checking this shop out as it is in Canada so no customs to worry about!

Gary, this Buckley-ed version of you was so entertaining. You need to watch this video one day once "the stuff" is out of your system. Growing up in Canada, I am very aware of Buckley's. It's great medicine that is best introduced to you when you are young and trusting of your caregivers. If you get it for the first time when you are an adult you may think that you are being poisoned. 😂 These mystery bags are well worth the money and the $10 flat rate for shipping orders under $125 and free shipping at that and above is excellent. Hello, Gary! I'm so sorry to see you feeling bit under the weather. Hopefully, by now, you're all better. You look a little giggly, which is nice. It made me giggle a bit also. Hank looks very handsome today in his to-die-for scarf. For some reason, I'm picturing him doing the dance of the seven veils. Perhaps it has something to do with a man's head being delivered on a platter during this one rendition, a 1953 film with Rita Hayworth. I'm certain you wanted to know about this. Lol! Anyway, the scarf is absolutely gorgeous. Your work is amazing. I used to be an avid knitter in my youth, but it really hurts my hands now, and I do well to crochet some days. -Whine, whine!- The mystery bags were really nice. Gorgeous yarns. You'll be able to make some beautiful things with those colors. I don't recall seeing yarn from there on Crystal's channel, and she can't pass up a mystery bag. Gary, when washing the hand dyed, throw a colour catcher in with it. It will capture any excess dye released into the water, preventing the bleed going back into the yarn, or anything else in the wash.

I've knitted a project with the Rowan Soft Yak yarn. I loved working with it. I think the one that had a slightly different label is the same yarn. Just the black label is the newer label. I'm not 100% sure, but based on the doughnuts I picked up a few years ago on sale, that would be my guess.

You are correct - after the video I had a closer look at the two side-by-side and the collection is the same, just different colours and labels. Even though the other label was on a light paper - I still had issues reading it. LOL!

Like you I ordered 3 knits and 1 crochet but I'm a bit desappointed. The 3 knits bags are the same and the yarn is ordinary. But I had fun anyway.

Thanks for noticing the baskets. I didn't do a pattern on them - I was playing with i-cording and ribbon yarn to help make them more sturdy.
