That Tillotson block looks nice. Some thought and care went into that. Nice machining from the factory as opposed to the Predator.

It's a nice piece, great casting and finish as compared to a predator...

There's a large amount of cross over parts that fit, basically anything that fits a Predator hemi or gx200 honda fits

@WHATS YOURSOC yea when im out on the trail 30 miles from home and blow the CHEAP chinese rod bearing, or worse, rip that CHEAP flywheel through the case, I'd be wishing I spent more than $119 on the pre dater. Tilly lightened flywheel good to 10,000 rpm stock! Its worth it to me. You get what you pay for every day.

I have 4 coffee cans full of hardware from motors basically separated in 4 sizes, I dare not throw it out, but I'll probably never use much of it again either.. Haha

@@MuscleMinibikeBuilds is the Tillotson 212 block an crank case the Exact same as Ducar 212? I know Ducar makes that Tillotson engine but was curious if they are Exactly the same

Great tear down and details. I'm working on my first 196cc on a Champion 46596 generator that came with a replacement Allwinner 196cc that I can't find anything about. Figured I'd read around and see what's the scoop on these 45° off horizontal shaft engines since all the ones I've studied to repair are 90° heads off the crank case. So, wondering to make in the future with a made in the U.S. or Japan replacement if I can't find another Champion 196cc engine... what will mount up to the generator or what parts can I swap into another that almost will mount to the generator with a crank case mount though still have the same crank shaft. Any ideas or places to ask around?

At what point does one ram jam a piston from the crankcase through the sleeve after already removing the head causing it to become a projectile?

I have a stock Predator 212 Non-Hemi, 15 hp Hisun 196, The Chonda Gx160 and another Genuine Honda Gx160 build starting in a few days. I'm spending around $300 to build those 160s to around 12hp. I'm gonna go for a 212, kinda pissed I missed the Mach3 212r but I can build it better myself, any suggestions?

I have a question. I replaced a cover gasket. When i removed the cover the crank was removed by an inexperienced helper. I just want to know if there is any special steps besides lining dot to dot to getting the correct timing?? Thanks in advanced. How can or where can i order one of your engine builds?

I came here for a governor removal I guess there is no easy way unless to gut the whole thing. Cant you just knock the governor out with the crank installed?

Yes you can do the same procedure just take the side cover off and remove the flywheel and you can knock the governor out
