AT TA these systems are our bread and butter. We do love a $20K budget because we don't have to tell clients about sacrifices or compromises. It's where you start talking point of diminishing returns. We hope it helps people navigate that budget and give them some ideas. There are so many combos out there even with stuff that we don't sell of course. But we hand select our lines based on 25 years experience for a reason. We believe them to be the best. For the haters and creators of moronic comments about why I don't talk about other brands it's easy..why would I do that. I don't sell them. I don't have access to them and I don't care about them. Maybe one day I'll get some stuff I don't sell to review and will honestly. Right now Im talking about stuff I love and have sold for decades.

I will be doing a video on it in more detail in the future. Most of my clients do not think they need it or want it or have the budget for it so that’s why you don’t see it that often. I do touch up on the subject in my $200,000 theater video.

@@czwhat328 they all rattle with good subs. I actually spent an entire day putting tiny pieces of rubber on all surfaces that touch each other on my wall sconces. Bought some stuff on Amazon and just tore into little pieces and hit it in all of the cracks that were rattling. Star ceilings are amazing. Very pricey to do correctly or can be inexpensive but take an amazing amount of work. We do them all the time.

Hi, having studied prices of Home cinema/AV kit in the USA, I have found out that even in these times of high inflation kit in the US less expensive than in the UK, between 10% to 15% cheaper and even more at times wish l lived in the USA 😂

As far as visuals are concerned I agree with you but we Brits can get some great deals too, especially on British Gear. When arcam released their second line of HDA range of products, we Brits were able to get up to 30% off their predecessors compared to what our Yankee Friends were paying. It's all a matter of timing!

I'm curious why many HT experts recommend Long distance projectors (like the LS12000) over the USTs like Formovie or LG HU915. Is it reliability or something else ?

Do you think the Kef R series is worth the upgrade over the Q series? Looking at the R2 meta with R3 bookshelves as my LCRs but not many theater based reviews that I can find

I have just purchased a pair of R5 meta/R2 meta and a month of running them in. They're sounding great now, but to be honest, the Kef Q950/Q750 are a better sounding speaker and far cheaper check out Andrew Robinson's review The R5's also require a sub or 2😊

I've had both Q75O/Q950, and like I said, l have the R5s now, and in my honest opinion, the Q range has better stereo imaging, making them better for home cinema the R5's have a narrower stereo image but more bass your also paying more money for R5's higher quality finish and that was the only l returned the Q series their finishes are easily marked

These people probably give you good advice. I would say for Theater it is probably negligible. If you listen to music a lot, and are using them for two channel, it would be a worthwhile upgrade.
