My grandparents ate red meat (moderately), bread, drank wine and beer (grandpa vodka) light to moderate drinkers, grandma baked her own cakes and pies often ----- we always had a slice of pie to eat. They did eat a lot of veggies and fish. NEVER drank sodas or soft drinks. They ate eggs almost every morning--- sometimes with ham or bacon. Grandma ate cabbage, celery and carrots all the time. Mad lots of soups, especially chicken veg. My grandpa was a cigarette smoker until he was 70 then gave it up for good on the advice of his doctor and still lived another 23 years! He golfed, fished and bowled regularly until his early 80's then slowed it down some. He started going deaf when he was 80 and that bothered his social life. Both were regular church goers and prayed every night before bed, sometimes reading biblical passages. They had pet dogs and sometimes cats all their lives. Gramps lived to be 93, grandma to 97. They never suffered any major diseases, no heart disease, cancer, diabetes, prostate, etc... Gramps had the deafness in both ears and grandma had varicose veins in her mid 80's. That was it. So I do believe that one can eat basically anything if one eats sparsely or moderately.

Bless and eat, my great grandma lives until she was 107, never had health problems, she was more focused on our savior, she just died of old age, she ate everything and drinks coffee every morning.stay blessed everyone.

@Paul Wartena Right, then some live what they call the good lifestyle, they watch what they eat, they exercise, they do yoga, lift weights, all those things that are supposed to make you healthy. And then they suddenly died in their 30's- 40s from some unexpected cause, car accident, heart attack, cancer, etc etc. Like my husband told me one time, don't ever put me on another diet again. When it's your time to go you're going to go and nothing will change that. He said, "I have watched this for the last 35 years. People do everything right or what is perceived to be right. Again, as I mentioned above he explained, they exercise, become vegetarian, follow Atkins's diet, or the other multitude of diet programs, they fast, watch their calories, stay slim and trim, do no alcohol or drugs not even prescribed, they're excited because they're a little bit above or more elitists than those who don't do all that stuff. For 35 years he served as a Licensed Funeral Director, Embalmer, and Deputy Coroner.

- Avoid stress, take nothing too seriously( observe your thoughts don’t take them seriously) - constant physical activity - eat within 8 hours and live the rest of the day free from food so the body would clean - do 1/2 min of cold shower per day - eat a bit of everything (natural) enough protein and vitamins - cultivate a hobby and “observe everything with the eyes of a child” than leave the rest to the universe

Interesting religion - the "universe" thing. Yes, stress is a big killer, and natural eating is great. But I'm wondering - how a lot of hydrogen - 6 billion light years away - will heal un on this planet? 99.99999% of the universe is hydrogen - either being cooked by stars into He, Li, B, C, N O ... or just aimlessly floating in space - waiting to be pulled in by a star. 🙂 Or do we all say "Heil Hydrogen" (or "Heil Universe")?

One very important thing to remember and is necessary, DRINK WATER ! Water flushes harmful chemicals out of the body. Cokes, Pepsi, coffee, ( with sugar), and sugar glazed donuts need to be flushed from the system. Stay away from too much greasy fried foods. When l bring home produce, ( apples, oranges, tomatoes, and potatoes, ect, l always WASH THEM FIRST to get the insecticides off. ( That's why apples look so shiny. Anything you have to fry should be placed on paper towels. When l eat at fast food drive thru, l always put the fries on napkins and squeeze the grease out. You'll be surprised how greasey they are ! All that grease is going into your arteries. Do the same at home when cooking chicken and fish.

My dad drinks and smoke since I was young. I remember he never have cancer but I had twice, first one was lymphoma, second is breast cancer. I never smoke, I drinks only occasion. I think it's depend on people luck.

My grandmother lived to be 95. She ate eggs, bacon, sausage every morning for breakfast. She drank coffee, cokes and sweet tea. She always had crackers and chips to snack on. She died a few years ago of old age. Eat what you want people and Enjoy your life! GOD BLESS Everyone🙏🏻✝️🙏🏻✝️🙏🏻✝️

My grandparents,aunts and uncles has smokehouses with hams & shoulders buried in salt and chewed tobacco. They worked all day in the sun 5am til 7 pm attended church on Sunday and lived to late 80s to mid 90s . RIP all

Yeah, actually activity level is what debunks a lot of this B.S. like demonizing meat. There's nothing wrong with meat whatsoever. Active red and processed meat eaters ALWAYS fair better than sedentary ones, same as literally any diet.

Boost your immune system and swab nose with copper.(or wash it). Copper kills microbes on contact (its an unusual e/m valence power has this effect). Egyptians invented it. This makes sense as most of the food items are processed, packed and refined products. We could eat more fresh fruits and veggies (both soaked in water for half an hour before consuming to get rid of pesticides). Sunlight helps a great deal with vitamin D requirement rather than milk and other dairy products

A lot of other countries do not allow certain chemicals and products be used on food. But here in the United States allowed to use anything on the food as long as they can sell it and make a profit. No matter how much harm it brings to the people.

The problem is....the definition of healthy is so convoluted that many "processed" foods are considered "healthy".... I won't order any food from the internet...I have no idea about it's true heritage and origins. I eat locally supplied GOOD FOOD...organic when I can afford it, but I definitely trust my grocer who is a hometown boy, whose family has been around since before I was born. I eat red meat; yes, in moderation. I eat eggs, yogurt, bread, ...my only resistance is simple sugars and carbs....otherwise, my diet is healthy for me....not for anyone else unless they deem it so. The universal word "healthy" doesn't work in Siberia...their healthy foods are healthy for them... the words doesn't work in outer Mongolia either...they don't have the foods that we have here. Adaptation and Evolution enter into the picture and people eat what they have available.

I have a close friend who is 98. She cooks for herself daily. Her secret? Everything in moderation. She eats fresh vegetables daily. Avoids milk for the most part, drinking water with her meals. Avoids sugar, unless it's a special occasion. She eats meat, but not everyday. Breakfasts consist of either oatmeal with blueberries or eggs/sausage. She makes most things from scratch, avoiding most processed foods. Never buys organic. Eats sour dough bread daily. Loves all kinds of beans. She eats a wide variety of food, but in moderation. Her last meal is by 4pm. Says her prayers every night and looks for the best in everything and everyone. She sleeps soundly every night, going to bed at 11:00 and waking around 8. She believes happiness is a choice and a responsibility. Genetics? Her mother lived to be 99 and shared the same diet/lifestyle choices. She's an avid reader. Her mind is lucid and her body is active. Oh, and she never gets sick. She's amazing!

Ferments are so much better for humans than straight plants. Workin' on sourdough culture right now actually. Made an awesome one many years ago from Spelt flour, so that's going to be my flour choice for this one too cause many people say Spelt is an awesome culture flour. I just got back into making bread again cause I knew bread was going up soon and already has and I am fed up. Got a breadmaker and some all purpose flour (cause it's the cheapest) and although not ideal for bread, you can totally make it work easily. "Country loaf" or bread, is how you do it and you'll like the ingredients, all super nutritious animal products, it's a white farm loaf and so easy. Eggs, butter, milk (or water or half of each), salt and yeast. All ingredients you'd find on a farm. None of that oil B.S. and eggs are a better and more interesting leavening agent than baking powder etc. Because eggs have things those do not (eggs are kitchen magic). Delish loaf and I'm gonna throw the sourdough starter in there when it's ready. It's hinting sour now after 4 days, but it needs more time, not sour enough yet. My first experiment with this was a flop, more like a dinner roll and dense and small, lol. Because all purpose is not ideal for bread, nor was the recipe in the book that came with the bread machine. Although the amount of gluten/protein is high enough nowadays to do it, the texture of all purpose flour isn't quite. It was just too doughy. Insert egg, boom, problem solved, loaves turn out wonderful, airy and light, but filling. Toasts perfectly too. Country bread is an excellent way to make bread with all purpose flour, cheaply that will rival any loaf made with bread flour and a bunch of inferior ingredients in the store bought stuff and more sugar and preservatives. My recipe, uses 1tbsp of sugar for a 2lb loaf. Just enough basically to kick start the yeast. You could use even less, but even a tbsp is far less than what most bread recipes call for. Most recipes call for at least 2tbsp and some, 1/4 cup. Not for this low carb guy, nope.

My ONCO told me i can eat what ever i want just moderately, but since i am health conscious person due to what happened to me, i am avoiding to eat much such as meat, can foods, those food have preservatives, sweets. What i am eating now is more on steam vegetables, milk, a lot of fish sometimes chicken, shrimps wheat bread. Its difficult to adjust but i need to do discipline myself. I believe still the best medicine is have faith to God and dont stop to pray and let him drive your life, surrender everything to him and enjoy your life for doing good and share the blessings to others. Life is too short so you need to make it useful and unforgettable to your loveones.

I learned a long time ago, everything in moderation. My parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, all ate in moderation everything mentioned in this video. Both my grandparents on both sides of my family lived in their mid to late 90's. My dad was 93 when he died and my mother just turned 92. Most of my aunts and uncles lived to be in their late 80's early 90's. Again, eat what you like, just make sure you have a varied diet and remember, everything in moderation.

As they got older, starting in the 1960's, they did eat some of the products you mentioned, but again, in MODERATION. One thing they very rarely consumed was soda pop, one of the worst things you can put in your body for sure.

I'm so sorry it does not matter if you eat healthy or unhealthy you got sick just the same I'm consuming these food ever since when I do my check ups I'm in prefect shape thanks be to my god cause i just came in from work & had a big bowl of pop- corn ,ackee & saltfish ,boil dumping ,Irish potatoes & a big bottle of water the only thing I do is trust god for what he provides I don't worry about the foods I eat I ask his blessing upon it trust me it works what man says not what god say so eat on medicate on his word & you will be blessed with the fruit of your labour.

You have to read that text in it's context to understand what Paul was saying . Does verse 4 mean that humans should consume just anything? Leeches , rats , poisonous frogs cockroaches, flies? Obviously No! The meaning here is not that we should go ahead and just eat anything The reference is to the heretical doctrine of abstaining from foods that God gave and a approved, for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. The word of God in the Old testament defines which meat are to be consumed and which not but leaders throughout history has imposed on their followers that they should obtain from food such as meat on certain days, and that they shouldn't marry etc Such doctrines do not originate in the Bible and are Therefore, heretical Paul was warning of those heretical teachings and not of the biblical requirement to avoid certain unclean foods.

She was diabetic and was told not to eat certain things , she laughed and said she is still going to eat everything, because something has to take her home , so after eating a big sugar bun , she went to do the laundry and she drop dead right there . Something did take her home .

Beside you don't eat healthy because you don't want to die , you don't have to die from a sickness , you can die from many other things other than health . Now I know why different forms of cancer is more prevalent in the Western world. Here in West Africa most of our foods go through only one stage of processing from the farm to the table. Soda drinks is what one should be careful of.

I'm glad you put sugar as #1 cause it truly is. soda is just sugar. and then proceeded food. you can cook your red meat on a low slower temperature to keep the bad stuff from forming. normally cause by high heat. everything else you said is considered to me to be all processed food.

To summarize what an anti-cancer diet mostly looks like: Lots of organic vegetables and herbs (broccoli sprouts and garlic being two of the most powerful for combating cancer and removing carcinogens), mushrooms, a good amount of fruits (berries, black raspberries, pomegranate, limit high sugar fruits such as over-ripe bananas), wild caught fish (salmon, sardines), organic free range chicken without the skin (baked or cooked at lower temperatures if possible, rosemary can remove some carcinogens from the high cooking, but best not to cook at high temperatures), organic eggs (but maybe not all the time if at risk for prostate cancer, as high amounts of choline has some links to that), if red meat have grass fed (and boiled or cooked at lower temperatures), lots of nuts and seeds (but limit brazil nuts), healthy fats (olive oil, avocados, etc.), green tea, and legumes, lentils and oats. If eating meat, make it a garnish and not the main course. The high methionine amount in meat can be an issue for cancer, but just don't overdo it. Meditation, exercise, getting good sleep, having a good life purpose, sunshine, time in nature and maintaining good social connections also important. Look up William Li or Chris Wark for good food advice on this as well. Also, try not to stress, laugh and learn to forgive and let go.

We avoid supermarkets veges and fruits because they're imported so we go buy our fruits and veges at outdoor markets and fish and we buy chicken from butchery or outdoor markets too not supermarkets because the sellers grow their foods in their farms. Also there are white folks who are living here also farming their organic foods e.g brukenhurst and sometimes they announce if interested to harvest so you go with your basket and buy and they also sell cheap. Me and my husband we don't take anything listed in the video but for only white flour if I want to change from brown to white and our oil we use Olive oil*

So....perhaps you should make a list of what we SHOULD eat, if there's anything left, that is. My grandparents and parents ate almost everything on your list and only one did not make it to seventy. Three of my grandparents made it into their eighties. My mother will be seventy-nine in two weeks and my father is seventy-seven. My father drank and smoked from his youth. Nobody overdid anything. They ate and drank everything in moderation. Except for my father, who practically chain smoked and occasionally got a little tipsy. Unless our demise is unnaturally, we none of us die in the pink of health. I think it might hurt our families more if we did. And who wants to go when still in their prime?
