What is inflammation? It occurs when white blood cells release chemicals that increase blood flow to the site of infection or injury. This makes the area tender, swollen, and hot. In a healthy body, the extra blood promotes wound healing. However, when inflammation occurs in a healthy joint, cartilage slowly breaks down in response.
Although inflammation is part of your body’s natural healing system, too much of it isn’t great. In fact, systemic inflammation is the root cause of many health conditions, including Alzheimer’s, heart attacks, Type 2 diabetes, joint pain, and much more. Cytokines and C-reactive protein (CRP) are the two main compounds responsible for all this damage.
Other inflammatory diseases include:
Arthritis
Depression
Lung issues
Heart disease
Cancer
Anger disorders
So what causes or triggers inflammation, you may ask. Well, lack of sleep, stress, dehydration, smoking, drinking alcohol and gut bacteria imbalance are all contributing factors. But the main cause - and the most easily reversible - is eating an inflammatory diet. In today's video, learn how you can avoid this list of foods at all cost.
For new videos on foods that fight inflammation, weight loss, and tips to optimize your nutrition and lifestyle so you can feel amazing naturally, Subscribe→ dailyhealthpost.co/subscribe

@@victoriahagopian1741 ALL CARBOHYDRATES, whether sugar or starch, are turned into glucose in the body. Too much sugar causes inflammation. There are so many "hidden" sugars in food of which people are unaware. Grains are one of the highest carbohydrate foods. Studies have found that amylase trypsin inhibitors (ATI), proteins found in wheat, can also cause inflammation. Also, there are many people who are gluten sensitive, even if they haven't got celiac disease, so avoiding any grains containing gluten is probably good for most people. By the way, I take it you mean you have osteoarthritis?

I live in the USA and I did an “elimination diet” and I noticed that wheat was a culprit. So I started avoiding wheat as much as possible and then I tried some pasta made in Europe with no problem. I found out that the EU banned GMO food, so I am convinced that it is something in the GMO wheat or the glyphosate. The wheat problem started pretty much when they started putting GMO crops in our food supply.

I often feel like my stomach is a roiling soup, I don’t feel well. I’m losing my hair, I now have to wear a wig if I go anywhere. I think I’m definitely a walking inflammation. I will be watching the video repeatedly! My good points, no longer eat fast food, gave up sodas a long time ago, I will have a glass of ginger ale, fizzy, I miss the fizz, occasionally, I rarely drink alcohol and my beverage of choice is water. I keep my salt shaker 1/4 full, I just wave it over the food, I’m tricking my brain, it thinks salt comes out. I love baked goods , I will choose sweet over savory. I use olive oil exclusively, sweet or savory. I just bought 2lb’s of organic turmeric. I add chia, pumpkin and another seed, black and tiny. I cannot think of the name of it, a sign of Brain Fog. In my defense, I have switched out their plastic bags to glass, threw out the plastic! Thank you for the great info in the video, Like & Subscribed, check!

John, don't believe everything you hear. There's a new, greener trend in pesticides which do less harm to the environment. And even glyphosate has a neutralising period. Look, many crops are subject to fungal growths. You _don't_ want aflatoxin poisoning - it'll put you under a damn' sight faster than glyphosate! Oddly enough I was talking to a friend just this afternoon who is manager of the local foliate feed/pesticide/fungicide/fertiliser company - he was telling me about a new 'green' insecticide that has _cinnamon_ in it. (He says it smells like pancakes!😂)

There aren’t any ingredient labels in the produce aisle (unless there is a refrigerated section). And minimal listing in canned beans/legumes (and taste better if you cook them from dry). This video informing us of what foods cause inflammatory responses within the body does not mean people are questioning things more. There's no questioning here, it's just a list of 13 foods that may cause inflammation. As for "solving problem" there is no ultimate solution to anything but if it helps you to believe and to trust then good for you.

The WHO found processed meat to be a type 1 carcinogen. This video suggested substituting beef jerky for processed meat! Jerky is processed meat! "Processed meats are any meats that aren’t fresh. People typically think of processed meat as only referring to pork and beef, but this category can also include poultry (chicken, turkey, duck) and fish. A processed meat, according to the panel, has been modified from its natural state, either “through salting, curing, fermentation, smoking, or other processes to enhance flavour or improve preservation.” This includes sausages, hot dogs, corned beef, beef jerky, canned meat, meat sauces, lunch meats and bacon."-PBS Title-"FAQ: Exactly what processed meat should I avoid, and other questions Science Oct 26, 2015 9:47 PM EDT"

I have real issues with beans, they upset my stomach and make me feel ill , so I have to refuse them and people get offended about that. Everyone is different and has different foods they process well. My daughter can't do cow's milk but my mother who is 85 practically lives on it. Different genetics are at work.

LindaTullos; Beans have lectins. It’s something that plants do to prevent being eaten. Look it up. I think ya need to start with soaking dry beans. Possibly leaving them in water overnight. When you do that with seeds and nuts, they begin to sprout. That’s the best time to eat them bc they are growing and less defensive. It contains more digestive enzymes after soaking too. Good luck 👍

Before I quit, I had developed Breast Cancer but it was only 1 tumor less than 2 cm. Four months later, I had a TIA (transient ischemic attack) or short stroke that lasted 12 minutes. As a result, I had difficulties with name and word recall for a year. Now I have been diagnosed with 3 clogged heart arteries!

Notice these food la that are alternatives are not the silver bullet to good health. Apart from the fact health foods are way more expensive to buy for a family but you also have an industry for health foods that is potentially just as risky in its production in its claims to be healthier. I think we forget we live in a capitalist society. Profits matter . And laws are made to protect profits and not health. In the case of food.

@@thicky Hi, Interesting reply you made there considering what I just wrote to a commenter saying you can eat gluten free bread - but I wrote my reply below - before seeing yours lol: @soloman9151 11 minutes ago @immaculateflo8097 Hi, yeah you can, indeed, BUT even the gluten free breads have other ingredients that are inflammatory and even in Australia nearly all the processed breads, whether promoted as gluten free or not have vegetable oils in them and, what many of us don't know is that carbohydrate levels in foods are inflammatory as well because the body uses carbs to make up for whenever sugar intake is low, seemingly. Very few - to none that I know of - make bread using olive oil because veggie oils are cheapest and it would seemingly be not cost effective making healthy breads with only healthy ingredients as manufacturers would have to charge double or more for their 'healthy' breads than the current gluten free mob of bread manufacturers already do for their 'gluten free' products. Some gluten free breads have some ingredients right but not all, ironically. 🤨🤔🙃
