Think you could do an 'Ability' version of this? To elaborate, Abilities certain Pokemon should/n't have? One of the best examples in my opinion, is Cranidos/Rampardos not having the Ability 'Rock Head'. Especially considering they and Relincanth (who does have RH), were the only ones that had the move Head Smash, the most powerful recoil move. They can also learn Double-Edge, via Breeding.

I like to think when Pokémon are just hanging around in the wild they’re capable of doing these moves but for some reason once game play starts they’ve just forgotten it. Like I don’t know how but still. Like they can do this shit to other wild Pokémon y’know. If that makes sense. Plus the Pokédex isn’t exactly the most reliable thing out there. Granted entries can stay consistent but they can also wildly change from one gen to another. Though these cases mentioned through these videos could be exceptions I suppose. Also I think Mew used teleport in Pokémon snap multiple times most noticeably in the final stage where it’s the only Pokémon you can find. It’s always at the end though.

I may be really late, but in all reality, rapid spin does somewhat make sense on the other hitmons. For Hitmonlee, it would do a roundhouse or something similar to ryu’s tatsumaki senpukuyaku. Isaac Crosley that would explain why some of them contradict each other on occasions, why some entries sound more like local rumors(shedinja for example) then scientific fact, why some sound exaggerated on occasions, and why some sound so absurd that it would defy physics But I don't think a kid would be thorough enough to record the average height&weight of the Pokemon, the locations they can be found in & how common they are in that area, and all the gender differences no matter how subtle they are (seriously who'd notice the black spec on torchic without the aid of some outside source) unless the professor gave the kid a checklist and followed through with the procedure with every Pokemon without forgetting even once which I seriously doubt because you know how kids are

Miracle Eye allows psychics to hit dark Soak allows electric to hit ground and dragon hit fairy (since it removes the ground or fairy typing and changes it to water) Gravity, Smack Down, and the Iron Ball item allow ground to hit flying and levitate (why i taught my groudon it, made end game level farming easy) the target item (forget the name) and an ability kangeskhan has lets normal and fighting hit ghosts.

Lessee here, bronzong can't learn heal bell because if it can't ever heal its own inner pain of being given away to be turned into a bell against its owner's will leading to her suicide, and anyone who tries to ring a bronzong just wants to break it to get sweet loot from the first owner's ghost, so bronzong certainly won't bless anyone who rings it. Glalie's face is frozen/made of ice, so it's not like it can make its face any meaner than it can, while smoochum has fully flexible face muscles that can contort into as nasty a frown as she pleases. Timburr doesn't want to hammer anyone with its wood because that might break the wood, then it can't build anything with it. Steelix can't use iron defense because it perpetually has iron defense, hence its super high defence stat, no room for improvement there. Vullaby actually can fly, but the first naturalist who studied one tried to fly on it, but he was an asshole, so the vullaby refused, so the naturalist assumed she just couldn't. If you're nice, vullaby can and will fly for you. Eelectross uses its fangs to shock its prey, not its battle opponents, so that means if it used thunder fang, it would kill and eat your opponent's pokémon, do you want to live with that guilt, don't think so. Cranidos deliberately refuses to use "Rocket headbutt" as a protest against its namesake Team Rocket, who, as you know, has done countless unethical, horrible things no good pokémon would stand for (pikachu of course has far less moral standards than cranidos does). Avalugg and bergmite's icicles are part of its body and projecting them at their opponents would be self-mutilation, so they don't want to do that. Hawlucha is a strong, independent bird who doesn't need to lean on anyone, thank you very much. Leavanny does have wings, it's those leaf-like things that cover its abdomen, clearly. Huntail can't learn iron tail because it lives in the water, and if it made its tail iron, it would sink. Goomy and primeape are a different story. Hitmonlee is a fighting type and just stomping on an opponent is a move completely devoid of style, something the likes of hitmonlee would never stand for. Whirlipede can't spin because it doesn't have an axis to spin on, so it can only roll. Jynx can't teeter dance because it doesn't have the feet for it (does jynx even have feet?). Chatot actually used to be able to learn perish song, but chatot being the birdbrain it is, would use it in the wild, and all the chatots that did fainted, were left vulnerable and unconscious in the wild, were eaten by scavengers, and are now extinct. Regirock can use rock blast, but regirock is a classy legendary, and whenever it hears the word "blast" it gets offended at the crass language and refuses to follow orders from its trainer. Exeggcute can't learn softboiled because eating oneself causes more harm than it does nourishment, and the eggs here are part of its body, unlike chansey's eggs (every time chansey uses softboiled, as the Japanese name implies, it lays a new egg to replace the one it ate). Rhyhorn refuses to learn head smash to protest mewtwo's removal from Super Smash Bros, which offended rhyhorn dearly. Togekiss can't learn draining kiss because its beautiful, pure lips would never soil themselves by kissing something as foul as a drain. Its fists don't exist, so it isn't soiling itself if it's punching one. Mewtwo can teleport, but never does because, as you pointed out, teleport was one of its moves in Super Smash Bros, so every time it teleports it gets flashbacks of getting disqualified from Smash, which forces it to curl up in fetal position (incidentally, that's why it and mew resemble fetuses). As such, it never teleports for fear of being triggered. Mewtwo actually can learn Teleport by level up finally in the Let's Go games, though it is a level 1 move so not sure that helps. It can also learn it through TM since Teleport returns as a TM in Let's Go. Mew can't learn it by level up but can by TM in Let's Go as well.

Like I said, I agree with that statement but Mario is still in a spin off game and is portrayed as such. Fighting is competitive so it makes sense that he would be serious.

+Mark Fuzuzu They tried creating more realistic (or better?) graphics in Brawl, hence all of the detail in the characters. That's the only reason Mario looks odd. Also... I don't really see him smiling in any other Smash game.

The sad thing about Eelektross and Thunder Fang: The gen that introduced a Thunder Fang TM, is the gen that Eelektross can't be obtained in AT ALL!
