@TheJackedVegan3 жыл бұрын
Extra tip for you mate - for straddle defo focus on the glutes (using the straddle leg hypertension I mention on the straddle Planche guide) and more shoulder strength (Planche leans and pseudo Planche push-ups) this will help a lot for Straddle specifically. And analyse that recording after every set! Stay strong 💪🏾💪🏾🔥

Great video, you practically explained everything a person needs to know or have to obtain the planche, even the obvious ones but someone needed to say it
@TheJackedVegan3 жыл бұрын
I honestly really appreciate the kind words man. And I definitely agree Some of the obvious ones, are 100% some of the most important however I might do a part 2 with some more niche reason in case those also apply to anyone 🙌🏾

Just one thing... when you say anterior tilting you are actually refferring to posterior tilting of thip, which involves the abdominal muscles and the glutes
@TheJackedVegan3 жыл бұрын
Haha yes I misspoke in the video 😅 was meant to that posterior tilt but my brain did not cooperate

everything about planche ! love it ..I'm getting stronger on the basics 8-10 rep ( pullups, pushups, dips, abs&core ) but handstand still working on it. where to go from here if basics become easy ?? thanks
@TheJackedVegan3 жыл бұрын
Once the basics become easy, all you need to do is move on to the next easiest progression, for example for push-ups start working on decline push-ups or even pike push-ups 👌🏾
@jugalshahcalisthenics3 жыл бұрын
If the basic becomes easy , for eg- you can easily do 30 push ups in a row then go for 40 then 50 and further more but you never stop training basics, I would recommend if you're a beginner calisthenics master your push pull and core basics for atleast a year and then start learning skills. Skills will become very easy to learn

I think you got anterior and posterior pelvic tilt reversed. You need posterior pelvic tilt for dragon fly which is contracted glutes and hips rotated forward in order to keep a straight line

dude how have you only got 3.4k subs? got one more anyway now lol 🤟 I'm fairly new to calisthenics - 45 years old.. 120kg and 6ft 2 so its not easy - altho got me a fairly good L sit on paralettes now so i'm quite happy at that. Working with bands to strengthen tucked planche and front lever but they're a long way off methinks. Been working on pike pushups with a weights vest etc - just trying to get solid basics. I went vegan in 2019 for a year... it was pretty good - i relearned veggies that make up most of my diet now but i just missed things like salmon, some chicken and the odd eggs hehe

We're on that journey! but don't worry as long as I'm helping you guys out with progress we will make waves! 🌊🌊🌊 Definitely not easy with those stats as the strength baseline you'll need to handle your body weight is higher than others but definitely possible if you stay consistent!

5 years and still can’t handstand. Can’t figure out the balance. 😢
@nielss903 жыл бұрын
Great video, good energy, and new tips I havn’t seen elsewhere. I’ve recently started my journey towards a full planche. My level of fitness is decent, I’m able to do wall supported handstand push-ups, but need to work on balance, abdominal strenght and all the tuck planche progressions. One of my main concerns is, how important is the strenght of your chest muscles for planche? I am missing the lower part of the pectoralis major on one side since I was born. Push-ups and similar kind of movement are okay for me, my body has learned to let orher muscles to compensate for the missing chest strenght. But how will this play out on a movement as difficult as the planche? How important is the chest muscle for this movement?
@TheJackedVegan3 жыл бұрын
The planche is a push movement but is shoulder dominant. Not chest dominant so although the pectorals will be isometrically contracting this is a lesser degree compared to the strain the shoulder are under, so the chest helps to support the shoulders. You would be able to planche in theory your shoulders would just compensate. You may find certain progressions or exercises more awkward but I think you could work around this. However I'm not a physician so you would want to ensure your not making any imbalances you may have worse before training planche

Reason No. 22 : You don't eat enough meat. Just kidding, good video. I cant do the planche yet, but I can say the bent arm planche is a good progression, not for the arms but it helps you get the feel of how to keep the scapulas, core and legs straifght.
