@@PRODBYOXEN Yo! There’s like a 5-6 day delay on how KZbin counts the watch hours. But after they register that you’ve gotten the 4k watch hours you should be able to automatically opt in to monetization.

It depends! I think a way to work around that is not dropping the full beat (maybe leave out the kick) in the first chorus or having an intro chorus or things like that where it still builds over time. This way they don’t know exactly how the beat is going to sound energy wise from the timestamps

Yoo, very nice vid! I have a question. If all my beats are based on guitar and sometimes i’m putting trap drums on a beat, sometimes live drums. Can I stay with the same keywords all the time? I’m talking about Alternative rock x indie rock type beat. Do you think that will fit with trap drums too or it’s kinda confusing for the artists?

@@some1_s_missing Yo! I think that’s okay as long as the keywords you’re going for include artists that have that type of production. For instance if you’re doing alternative rock type beat x MGK type beat or something like that (where the artist has both live drums and trap drums in different songs) then it’d make sense!

I just realized that feature is actually from TubeBuddy not vidIQ. Sorry about that. You can use the free version of TubeBuddy and it should pop up on every video you view in the bottom right section of the screen on desktop under the "chat replay." So you can use it on your own videos but it works with any other channel's videos as well. Let me know if that works!

I’d definitely recommend starting a new channel. Because all your subscribers from years ago probably won’t engage with your channel now as much as they did in the past, which will hurt your chances of the algorithm pushing your videos to more people.

Isnt our goal to keep the viewer watching as long as possible wich means if I add time stamps and he skips to the drop and doesnt like and leaves after less seconds then if he had to wait for the drop... + if u add the yt optimized 30 second intro.. this can steal a lot of watchtime from you.. lmk guys about your experience please.

I used to do timestamps all the time and in my experience it didn’t really affect my AVD too much and was fine. I ended up stopping it because it didn’t seem like my subscribers wanted it as much as in the past. I’d try doing it both ways and see what works best!

Yo yea it does matter! Once your channel gets monetized the "country of residence" has to do with where you are located for tax reasons for getting paid from ads and how KZbin handles taxes based upon your country/currency. It doesn't have to do with where your target audience is located. Let me know if that makes sense 🙏🏻
