Good morning the reason why the lovely boss is such an important of the team is because she has her own way of adding in information that Robby might forget to mention. I think using the Limo to do recoveries is a great idea because you will have plenty of room and the people in the back can ride in style. SUGGESTION: Yo, yo, Robby Layton, y’all need to get with Matt and build an off-road ambulance. Given the enthusiasm for off-road activities and the massive increase in the market, it would be prudent to construct an off-road ambulance for emergencies. Y’all could solicit input from local search and rescue, etc., and possibly create an opportunity for an enthusiastic EMT. Thanks for all the great family oriented entertainment. Bless y’all!

@@charlesirby9222 Note that an off-road ambulance wouldn’t be out there trying to conquer major obstacles. The vehicle doesn’t need to be a rock crawler because the objective is to provide emergency services in close proximity, which means a quick response to any accidents during scheduled events. Nah, a helicopter/air ambulance is not an affordable project, nor is it in the technical scope of the mechanics involved. Although this sport is dangerous, realize that the participants are skilled, safety minded, and minimize much of the risks involved. Sorry, but I don’t see the humor in your meat wagon comment.

A 1354 transfer case from an explorer will bolt in and has 6 planetary gears instead of 4. It also eliminates the slip yoke in the case for the front shaft.

I personally can't wait for these derby car builds. I remember being surprised that Paul, Matt, and Robby all knew each other through derby. This kind of stuff is really fun to watch, since I don't have the funds to do it myself. As Paul said, derby isn't buying cheap junk and crashing it anymore. And since our local circle track closed and was demolished, bump to pass no longer exists in this county. That was the cheapest way to race.

Stuff a 460 in the bronc-star. Should be easy enough to get and rebuild an old one. Mine has never let me down and runs cool in my old F250. Space will be the issue. Thanks for all you do!

Can't believe how much the Bronc⭐ is transforming. A 300 6 that's stroked is a great one for low end torque and is thin enough for easy exhaust and room for turbo. The 300 is a very underrated, bulletproof engine.

Snap wring was probably installed with the rounded side out. They are die cut so one side has rounded edges and the other is sharp. You want the sharp side against the force.

If you'e going to use the limo for recoveries, it's going to need winches. The front may not be a problem, but a rear winch and tow hitch receiver will ruin the departure angle -- unless (TaDA!) you hide then in the trunk.

I have a stock 5.0 in my explorer that I want to solid axel swap the front. Already got the BW manual Tcase. I'm loving the broncstar and think a coyote would be more power than torque and not good for crawling. Hillbilly, get yourself a 5.0 from an explorer and freshen it up. You'll have enough torque to crawl and mud
