Falkirk!!! That's where that cool wheel/lock is, isn't it? I'm from Minneapolis 🇺🇲👋 and I was in the UK and Scotland a year ago right now. I was in Edinburgh, St Andrews, up in the Highlands, over to the Glenfinnan Viaduct and to Glasgow. It wasn't until I was home in the US when I saw a picture of that fascinating device and I wanted to know what it was and where in the world that was. And I realized I was maybe only an hour or two away on my drive all around Scotland! If I had known, I would have gone there just because it looks like such a cool, one-of-a-kind creation in the world. Now I am hoping to come back sometime and see that AND spend more time in your lovely country! 🥳😁

In Manchester in the sixties and seventies there were six cinemas and four live theatre’s is was a great place to live and work ….I worked in a few of them and I loved it…It is very sad to see Manchester to-day. WA is less woke than the east coast where I live, and eastern Australia is way less woke than Britain is currently, so you will notice a huge difference from the Old Country. When you have settled in, find a club that interests you, it can be anything at all from vintage motorcycles to gardening, or volunteer for something, anything from surf lifesaving to bushfire fighting. It is the quickest way into the Australian culture.

Katie was at the Concorde club in Eastleigh a while ago. Literally 20 minutes from where I live in Drayton. They're a great venue mainly for music, have a good restaurant and hotel. I couldn't get to see Katie but I've seen Nigel Farage and Jim Davidson there. Whatever you think of them at least you can give Kudos to the Concorde club for hosting them.
