Hello Rusty, liam here. I love stories like this one. They're realy heart warming. Hav'nt read it yet, but theres a book called "finding Goby" realy nice story with a fantastic ending, and that story of a little dog that Paddy Maine adopted, whilst out in the sahara. For the future, two words ,that l think ,have found their way, from the S.A.S, into main stream vernacular. "GUBBINS" people use this to describe tecnicle workings of machinery, and equipment. I think this came from major Gubbins, who i think was in charge of the S.A.S during the 50s. So any equipment under his command, would probably been a bit more special than main stream army issue, and was badge as "Gubbins". Also the reference "thats a STERLING job" people remark on the quality of a job, meaning better than the norm. I think this probably origanated in the main stream army , refering to the more specialised and difficult tasks, under took by David sterling and Jock Lewis's new regiment. I might be completely of the mark, but its nice to think it came from Hereford👍👍👍👍

That was an amazing story Rusty. I did a stint of 4 years for RSPCA and took in many things that would not survive. We as humans have to fight nature at times regarding weather, then we also have to care for natures creatures.

Great stuff Rusty. I remember reading about the Bear somewhere, can't remember where. I'm just reading Across An Angry Sea, I'm sure you know of it. Great read. I also finished one called The First Casualty, controversial but fascinating. Perhaps if you have time you could recommend some books about the regiment or anything else you think is worthy. In a sea of madness people like yourself give comfort to others. Cheers! BTW. You are familiar with mass-times-velocity? Have you been in a situation like that? Also, what's your experiences and opinions working with other SF around the world, in particular Delta Force? Polish SF GROM, do you know of them? Did you ever train for HALO insertion?

Rspect from Japan🇯🇵 May I ask you a one question? As a "pioneer" of modern special forces, SAS has provided guidance, education and know-how to many special forces around the world, but has SAS also provided guidance to Japanese special forces? For example, to SAT(Special Assault Team) of the Japanese Police or SFGp(Special Forces Group)of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force(Japanese Army), etc...

IM an ex squaddie and respect and love the Special forces especially the SAS....!! But FFS you have just bored the life out of us by talking about your merch and buying stuff of face book etc for the first 5 mins...out of a 20 min video!!!. I have no problems with people pitching their stuff but you do the same on every one of your videos! I understand we all need to make money but i recon with your skills you could thin the sales pitch to at least 20/30 secs like most people...!! i can only imagine how many people switch over during your sales pitch.. I have already bought the embassy siege print so don't have a go and except some constructive criticism. Switch on to the long winded pitch and i guarantee that more people will watch your videos for longer as your content is 100% just the pitch is boring as ...
