Yeah, I literally dealt with this exact thing at this exact age. I had a few unpaid tickets in a city I used to live in and didn't realize my license was suspended. I apologized and explained that I didn't know (like the video), the officer told me to call somebody to pick up the car (like the video), and I said, "Okay, thanks," (UNLIKE the video). It was resolved basically immediately. He didn't even wait for my friend to show up, he just said "Okay, have a good night," and left. I paid the fines and got my license back in like a week.

Anything that’s inconvenient for her is “disrespect”. Knew a guy in high school who totaled three cars before he turned 21; he constantly claimed that the speed limits were “predatory” because he liked to “drive to feel alive”, and the cops were all asshats who liked to pick on people with really nice cars. This dude was convinced that all law enforcement inside of Sedgwick County, KS (pop. ~535K at the time) worked together to pick on specific people they felt “threatened” by (their masculinity, not their physical safety), and also insisted to anyone who’d listen that cops only pull over cars they’d hope to buy at auction once they’re seized and forfeit. These people are so egocentric that they genuinely believe they should be allowed to drive anything they want, anywhere they want, in any fashion they want, and as long as they’re not actively trying to hurt somebody they still feel the laws are illegal and the cops can’t touch thumb without getting sued. Drives me nuts. I hope we can start passing laws to require more stringent enforcement of license revocations (and other things). Something like randomized spot checks of social media to see if Joe’s out drinking when he shouldn’t be, or the occasional surveillance to see if known gang members are still up to their old habits. Whatever happens, we cannot let the youngest generation grow up and move into middle management without making drastic changes in the meantime.

I don't understand these young black women. Its not only dangerous, but its just plane stupid. Time after time, minor traffic violations go from 0 to 100, all because of these attitudes. I got pulled over once. I was maybe 2 minutes away from my house. I was speeding home. The cop asked for my license and registration. I was nervous but complied. He smiled, gave me a ticket, and told me to drive safer next time. It really is just that easy

Your license wasn't suspended unknowingly either

I got pulled over as well for speeding at my grandma's neighborhood coming back home from work or arrends and literally the cop pull me over right next to my grandma house and I was like at first are you kidding me lol but the cops pull me over ask where I was going and everything and if course they told me they pull me over cause I was speeding and I was like ooh I'm sorry I thought it was 40 something and I told him I was going to my grandma house who lives right here and luckily my grandma came out and the officer immediately laugh and told me okay son I'm gonna give you a warning okay lets just drive safe okay and i was laughing as well and I respectfully said thank you sir and you have yourself a wonderful day as well It's that easy be respectful be calm and always say yes ma'am and yes sir

I got pulled over for “slow rolling” a stop sign (going about 1mph), one that turns into the street I live on. Evening, no traffic, clear sky, cop was probably bored or needed a ticket to fill his quota. I presented my ccw, license, registration, sat in shame as the red and blues woke up my neighbors who were peeking out their blinds to see all the commotion. Got my ticket, wished the officer good evening, and drove down my street. Went to the DA with a copy of my clean driving record and got that ticket dismissed on the spot.

I agree with the last response. You didn't find out that you're license was suspended and you were miles from home in the middle of a two way highway.
