Clicked “like” on this episode before I even started it. YOU four people have brought me and my husband to Christ (after growing up in and surrounded by broken families and without Jesus anywhere to be found). I was pregnant with my first child and found your channel because I knew there must be a way to create a wholesome family. I feel so blessed to have started walking this path. I know this is the best thing that could have ever happened to my family, my marriage, and my children. Thank you for all that you do!

THIS!! I found Katie's channel when my 1st son was about 6mo old. I was already 10yrs into "New Age spirituality" but was still drawn to her. Fast forward to last year after having my third baby (Lucy😊) I realized I had been running from Christ. Thank god for the Voetberg & Johnson families.. I wanted what they have and it's Him. Sending you all the love sister.. 🩵

Yes me too!! After at least a decade of being in the new age and just not finding the relief and answers I was looking for, finding gods word brought immediate “aha” moments. Been diving deeper ever since. Not sure if I would have been able to be so open minded and accepting to this without the approachability of Katie and Elisha. Such great role models. And to see the fruit of their parents lives, and how vibrant they are, wow I want to listen to every word and do it myself.

I would have more children if I had parents like these. What a blessing. No grandparents to help makes it hard. My mother hasn’t even met my second born. Luckily I am blessed to have a great husband and I do it all with the help of our Father.

I never comment, but this video and any that Katie and Elisha put out along with any featuring one or more of their parents are huge blessings to me and my family. I don’t have that older generation in my life to look up to, so these videos are a little piece of that for me. Please keep it up!

This was SO good! Please have them on again and your parents too, Elisha. So much wisdom. I just soak it up because my husband and I are the “Abrahams” of our lineage and desire this kind of legacy. Not having it modeled can be a challenge but I love the perspective you gave it! What a gift it is too! So many good nuggets in there. Thank you for this.

This episode was so rich and encouraging! I always love it when you interview your parents. This podcast has inspired my husband and I in so many ways. It's helping us create the vision for our family's legacy! While also showing us practical steps to work towards that. God has allowed us to break many generational curses just by being married and raising our 3 small children together. Your podcast is so priceless in helping us walk in what we have been "called to". God bless you! ❤🙏🏾

This is insane!!! Today morning I watched the video „Mother of 11 children shares her wisdom: Self Care, Making Time for Husband, Homeschooling etc.“ and while I was listening to this older mom giving advice I spontaneously imagined of her husband and TRULY this older father was my image! I felt that she wouldn’t have talked so beautifully from any other kind of husband! They are so so so suitable and matching to each other that makes it a real blessing!!! I admire you both!!! ❤

I am so moved by your perspective on being a first generation Christian. Being one myself I often find myself feeling sad and wishing that God put me in a family where I would have been able to accomplish a lot more and or just not made a lot less mistakes in life . However, with your perspective I now see it as an Abrahamic opportunity to start a new path and make things better for my descendants. Thanks so much.

In Eritrea/Ethiopia and many orthodox Christian communities when someone dies for 40 days family and community stays with them and visits them and they can cry as much as they need to and mourn then after the 12 and 40 days there is a prayer for the soul and they are encouraged to move on and have a sense of closure after 1 year friends and family buy them new clothes which signifies that it’s time for them to start their life again. Although they will continue to miss them forever obviously they give them room to mourn and then encourage them to move on in time.

Loved this. I found this very interesting, but I felt like Chad talked a lot and constantly interrupted you in the beginning. I also felt like I would have liked to hear more from jenise. ( maybe it's first time jitters)🙂 Maybe alternate on asking each a question? I think it would also be cool to interview each individually to get their opinions on marriage, life etc from a male and female perspective. I think it really took off once you got to about the 35 minute mark and got more focused on questions.. The last bit of the interviews were AMAZING!!! Overall great podcast.

It is taking into account the sovereignty of the LORD. It comes from the verses: “Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.” ‭‭James‬ ‭4‬:‭13, 14‬, 15
