They do a TON of damage to trails so it makes sense, people drive them hard and these machines love to make ruts.

Jeeps, broncos, trucks etc destroy trails much more than any side x side. They way 2 to 3 times more and are wider. Where I live in the desert southwest I can always tell when a group of jeeps have been on the trail cuz its rutted out and washboarded
@motoxman5412 жыл бұрын
I have a 2022 rzr turbo R and I live in southwestern Pennsylvania. I ride with a group of friends and we frequent Hatfield McCoy trails several times and year. I can tell you that we ride around 200 miles in two and a half days and our average speed is less than 20 MPH. We aren’t ripping up anything. Trails get ripped up when it’s muddy and at that point anything that’s on them makes ruts. I own over 200 aces and I rip across my fields and I don’t make any ruts. We road Sand Hollow In Utah this past June it was mostly lose sand and hard pack and rocks. You can’t make ruts there. We ride almost every weekend somewhere and only run into ruts where there is puddles.

I agree with Cletus. The trails that I ride here in Wisconsin do not allow jeeps, broncos, or trucks. It's all 4 wheelers and SxS. These trails are so torn up you can't really enjoy a ride in a Polaris ranger with the junk suspension they have. Just about every sport SxS I see is being driven like its ars is on fire. The results--- torn up trails that only select SxS can handle.
