ive been a truck driver since august 2021 and this was the first time I went to Florida (as a truck driver). my gosh it was hot!!!!!!! between 100-112 degrees when I was there.
I ended up being stuck in Florida for a couple days because I couldn't find a trailer. all was good though because the state was beautiful.

I am a 23 year old traveling the United States that posts day in the life vlogs of a truck driver. I attended CFI's trucking school at crowder college and have been a truck driver since August 2021 but recently switched to work for a trucking company named Variant after watching a TON of Variant trucking driver reviews . I got into trucking because I've always wanted to live life on the road since I was 18 years old. Originally I was going to do vanlife but decided to live the trucking life instead because it was a better financial decision. I mean I have free housing and I travel the U.S. It's awesome! I mean what job other than trucking can you listen to podcasts while you work and travel the country for free???

7/26/22 6AM - Wake up 7/26/22 6:30AM-8:45 Drive from Cape Coral to Tampa 7/26/22 10:20AM-11:45AM Left Tampa to Lakeland Juan driving 7/26/22 2:00PM-3:45PM Lakeland to Tampa Juan driving 7/26/22 4:00PM 8:15PM Tampa to Jacksonville I drove 3 hrs starting at some point after we fueled up and ate 2 slices of pizza 7/26/22 8:15PM- 10:00PM Waited for unload 7/26/22 10:15PM-2:15AM Jacksonville to Atlanta (Dacula) GA Juan drove stopped somewhere idk I was in sleeper but couldn’ actually SLEEP 7/27/22 2:15AM-6:15AM We both slept 7/27/22 6:15AM-7:40AM Juan finished the drive to GA I tried sleeping more until about 8AM couldn’t I was wide awake 7/27/22 8:00AM-11:00AM I walked to ease my mind and maybe induce some sleep since I barely slept 7/27/22 11:00AM-2:30PM Unloading complete went back into sleeper Slept 30 minutes load dispatched 2:24PM 7/27/22 2:45PM-4:45PM I drove to ATL to South Carolina for pick up 7/27/22 5:00PM-7:00PM Stressed about everything spoke with Jorge directly didn’t feel very reassured but ultimately I can do what he asked as of today.
