24° Gara Nazionale d'Aratura Trattori d'Epoca Quingentole 2019 - Landini TestaCalda, Fiat, Same, etc

Here the 24° Gara Nazionale d'Aratura Trattori d'Epoca 2019 (Italian national old tractors ploughing race) held at Quingentole, near Mantua and organised by the "Gli Aratori del Po" association. I have to say that it was something different from the usual for me, not that my channel is not already involved in the world of tractors/agricultural machinery, but it has always been at the sporting level like Fast and Tractor Pulling championship races. I was very impressed by the number of vehicles that were present and having seen so many Landini Testacalda (Hot Head), the characteristic start-up procedure and hear them snort and work the land with the tools of the time was very interesting. We realise how agricultural mechanisation has made enormous progress. Congratulations to the organisers and owners for keeping the traditions alive and at best these authentic metallic pieces of history!
Questo è un video Highlights della 24° Gara Nazionale d'Aratura Trattori d'Epoca che si è svolta a Quingentole (Mn) organizzata dall'associazione "Gli Aratori del Po". Devo dire che è stato qualcosa di diverso dal solito per me, non che il mio canale non sia già coinvolto nel mondo dei trattori/macchine agricole, ma lo è sempre stato a livello sportivo gare dei campionati di Fast e Tractor Pulling. Sono rimasto molto colpito dalla quantità di mezzi che erano presenti alla splendida gara di aratura ed aver visto così tanti Landini Testacalda, il carattristico procedimento per accenderli e sentirli sbuffare e lavorare nei campi la terra con strumenti dell'epoca è stato tutto molto interessante. Ci si rende conto di quanto la meccanizzazione agricola abbia fatto enormi passi avanti. Complimenti agli organizzatori ed ai proprietari per mantenere vive le tradizioni ed al meglio questi autentiti pezzi metallici di storia!

Ein landini ist nach der angewandten Technik nach so wie ein Lanz Bulldog. Nur der Schornstein ist kürzer. Ha, der Kühler ist quer zur Fahrtrichtung eingebaut. Beim Lanz längs der Fahrtrichtung.Lg.Ff.

Danke für diese Info, aber ich würde sagen, dass es genau so ist, die Landinis waren die Referenztraktoren in Italien wie die Lanz in Deutschland.

For the car people here (like me), the white and blue tractor at around the 5:49 minute mark? That's a, Lamborghini, the same Lamborghini as the Lamborghini that made the Miura.

Yes, Ferruccio Lamborghini started his career as a manufacturer of agricultural tractors. Years later, he began to build beautiful cars 👍

Nice to see so many Landinis in one place. Interesting to compare them with the Lanz Bulldog. Some real off-roading going on there, those furrows were getting very very deep.

I think I'd prefer the Landini compared to the Lanz Bulldog. The Landini had a far better engine note, had a lot more "toys" (many of the Landinis in the video had hydraulic 3 point hitches, electric starters, diff locks)

Awesome video! Why are they plowing so deep? In the US, we plow at most 30 cm deep.

Because the Italians are crazy 😅 During the ploughing race, one of the characteristics that lead to the score is also deep. Then I agree with you that given the age of these tractors, one should be careful not to ruin them. But these machines are indeed durable, 100% mechanical, if after 70 years they are still here to work, nothing and nobody can stop these tractors. I'm glad you like the video. If I remember what I read correctly, they plow deep for better drainage. And if I remember correctly the event shown in the video also had a contest with that in mind. Apart from the plowing match/competition, there's another where the tractors were classed from their power rating and each participants would try to plow as deep and wide as their tractor could possibly pull.

Dipende da quanti punti prendi I lavori saranno giudicati con i seguenti parametri e punteggi: Linearità del solco da 0 a 100 punti. Pulizia del solco finale da 0 a 100 punti Inizio e fine solchi allineati da 0 a 100 punti Presenza di stoppie in superfice da 0 a 100 punti. Sistemazione finale e globale del terreno da 0 a 100 punti.
