Bork The Swedish Chef the way the comma was used in that made some separation of the words, so basically it means he said that they did real stuff, no cheating, like other videos that do fake it. You however, are still right if he didn’t use “ , ”. Just some confusing English language

I've really been enjoying catching up on your old stuff guys. At first the break after the final roundhouse video was sad for me, but since I only subscribed this year it's become a welcome chance to visit classics like these. The growth you have both shown in your bushcraft and your film making is amazing. I can wait as long as you want for more stuff. I'll even rewatch the roundhouse series a 4th time. Keep up the great work!

It was a great call to actually switch to improving the shelter. Could have easily been stuck on trying to get the fire going until all light was gone. Especially considering you got an ember going once. Easy to push too far with something as important as fire and push past where you can't really make your backup plan work.

Little tip, you don't always need to make a board. With smaller pieces, it's good enough if you start a hole with your knife, enlarge it with your drill and then carve the notch directly into the side. No flattening needed. It normally works and it saves time and effort. Great video Julius. Regards.

Leightweight is nice, but you might lose some power too without the weight. Think you made a good choice with the esee 6! easy to sharpen and Lifetime guarantee!! Mind your edge tho, as it is a fairly 'soft' steel and will rust quick. Julius does an excellent job looking after his. Coats it in (coconut)Fat every evening at camp and strops frequently:) Thank you for commenting, Dylan

:) good one. you surely found almost no litter, cause that green signs with the eagle represent nature preserves. better not camp nor making fire there, people might react "crazy" if they see this. about the bow drilling: we use the bow to its full length while push n pull, finding it less exhausting then. theres also an option to twist the rope around the drill, so it wont fall out easily. have to try this technique myself yet.

With a small pocket knife, make yourself some wedges out of hard, tough wood. Different lengths and thicknesses. Tap your pocket knife enough to score a V in the end of your piece to split, then switch to your wedges to finish the split. A knife is an excellent tool to make other tools with. Very impressive to get as much done as you did with a small blade, and to have toughed out such a challenge in less than ideal conditions! Particularly getting soaked and no fire! I hope it was a warm night my friend.

I'm no expert at this by any means, but for your position with the bow drill, I suggest the following: 1. Get a longer stick to lean on and make sure you put all your weight on it. You can do that by making sure your shoulders are over the spindle, putting your knee on the hearth instead of your foot. Try and make it long enough, so you can use the entire length of your forearm. 2. If you're more comfortable putting your foot on the hearth, try a longer spindle, that way you can still lean right on it. 3. Try and use different material for a bird's nest, dry leaves still have more moisture than for example pine needles or dried grass. Again, I'm no expert and this isn't "criticism", just a few suggestions. I've picked these up from various other survival channels. Great video!
