Highly recommend doing 'half' a feed (one side or half a bottle) then burping and changing then the other half. Usually they've had their bowel movement in the first half and then ending with milk makes them sleepy again :)

My baby is ten next month and as much as I miss having babies... It's a wild ride raising kids! Mine are 18,14,12 and 10. I've successfully raised one adult, so far! He just graduated high school. Class of 2020! The baby days fly by, then it slows down a bit while they're in elementary school... Then once they hit junior high - high school, it seems to go by in a blink of an eye!

Omg such an easy, well-sleeping baby! You make staying at home with a newborn look like a vacation. And he does not unswaddle when he is barely wrapped, wow! If we do have another, fingers crossed for one just as calm (lol fat chance I know). Hope things continued just as well, good luck, and in case things do get more complicated - a mother apparently can survive on 2-3 hours of disjointed scraps of sleep for years on end. We will sleep eventually! I believe!!..

Hi Ashley! 20 weeks pregnant, a fellow minimalist and loving your channel :) As a minimalist, I really don't want to overdo the purchasing. In regards to breastfeeding, I intend to be home for the entirety of the first year and to exclusively nurse. Did you buy an electric breast pump just in case? What is your recommendation on that? I just don't want to spend $200 if I will barely use it..

My midwife said that the Hakka only relieves the pressure, it doesn’t pump you anywhere close to empty so it shouldn’t cause an oversupply. I put my milk in the fridge when when my bottles get full, I store them in the freezer. I stopped doing this at 4 weeks though because I filled by freezer twice hahah
