I am not sure if you remember me but I commented months ago saying I would get an aquarium once I have the money. A lot of aquascpaing covered on the channel which I love. The world championship series is awesone too Some floors can't hold the weight of larger tanks & sometimes a concrete floor from a garage or out building is the only option. Would be nice to have a video on what hobbists should take into consideration when putting a tank in a garage or out building. Cheers

Man this looks really great! I would add some thin grasses at the back in order to give a bit more depth at the focal point and the highest points on both sides. It would give it a kind of hilltop appearance with long blue distances on the lighted background. Just my opinion but still an amazing tank with really good scale and layout!

They are the same all the time. And we've discussed and showed that on several videos. Soft water (pure RO), TDS is 130-150ppm. ADA fertilizers so low or no NO3 and PO4. Water temp is 22-24C.

pH is usually between 6-6.5. If needed we add minerals for snails and shimps. Not needed on this setup tho

@@GreenAquaShop Thank you so much for replying, can you please elaborate further? This is why i love this channels so much, it's the only truly professional channel that doesn't follow the internet. I have a high-tech setup with PH 6.6 - 6.7, KH - 4, GH - 10, I know there are other factors like calcium and TDS but the high GH is mostly due to the Seriyu stones(So I think there would be plenty on calcium), KH has been dropped by CO2, do you think caridina shrimp like the CRS will be able to survive in these conditions with proper acclimation and with a temperature of 24 degrees celsius?And also why are minerals not needed for this setup?

We usually not worried about KH at all. If needed we add in some GH plus for the shrimps and snails. So after water change we measure the water with a TDS pen. If this is low (below 100-120ppm) we dose some GH Plus to hit the 120-150ppm mark. That is safe for these creatures. Some layout do not need this like the ones with lot of seiryu stones, but others where mostly wood decoration is in place needed. We're using this method for over 5+ years now and since then we do not have problems with molting etc. Your water parameter seems to be correct. Make sure the temp stays around 24C throughout the year. Even at summer. Shrimps are more sensitive to pH changes. So better to use active soils which buffer the water parameters and stabilize it in some way.
