This is definitely one of the most underrated channels out there, Calvin is a well versed in all aspects of the build: body/electronics/engine/paint and he loves his cars and doesn’t actually beat on them (excessively 😉) . Most channels have that “one sidekick” doing the important stuff ie: Big boost/James etc. but Calvin persistence and determination is off the charts, keep it up bro your future is bright!!!

Brought back the pain I went through in 2013 haha. Did sort of the same thing with my wiring harness. I removed all the wiring not needed for my build. Relocated the fuse/relay boxes and extended wires to the front of the car. It was a pain but worth it at the end.

The good ol' Kalvin's treatment is so satisfying to watch, keep the details up man. Also just for future insurance, run a bigger wire to the alternator and from main fuse to battery or wherever that white wire splices into the battery wire coz those things can get hot if the jz has a alternator or if you just simply make the wire longer. (Currently solving the aftermath of a too small battery wire on my s13 so I've been there)

I feel your pain bro, ive just finished a similar hack but moved the fuse boxes to the boot. FYI you have different fuse boxes to mine (s13 hatch NZ new 200sx) but my 2 fuse boxes from the bay clipped together using the factory clips. I would call that a win lol. BTW im surprised you havnt done the JDM digital climate control conversion yet. it must be on the cards. keep it up bro

Yes! Leave only essential wires and wire them front and center easiest get to and to test for continuity. Then if someone fucks with a wire its easy to hunt down ;)

nissan used the same relay boxes through out the 90's. you can get a bottom from an altima or g20, probably anything.
