If the CFP format that exists today existed during Richt's time as head coach we would have been in the playoffs in '02, '07, and '12. Richt wasn't given *NEAR* the amount of financial support that Smart has received since he arrived in Athens and Smart didn't have Damon "DUI with red panties in his lap" Evans to deal with, either. If the administration and boosters had done for Richt what they have done for Smart there's no doubt in my mind he would have had at *LEAST* one NC during his tenure and possibly more. After Saban came around in 2007 there was very little chance anyone was going to catch him given the amount of resources he was getting at Alabama. Even though we never won "The Big One" under Richt I don't blame him for it - I blame the University for seeing what Alabama was doing and expecting Richt to do the same thing with nowhere near the same amount of support.

Georgia played down to OSU. Took them a little bit to shake the rust off. I never doubted them and expected a win by at least 3 scores in the championship. TCU lost their conference championship and would not have beaten Michigan without help. They never had a chance. The best teams were not on the field. It was obvious that better teams were excluded the first week in December. The PO Committee fumbled this one. If two is more than one does it even matter that losses cannot be accounted for using transitive math? YES. There is probably a 50-60 point mathmatical error in the calculus of the NC using the poor math of the PO Committee.

TCU was not destroyed by any means....they met a team with a perfect game plan that executed it perfectly...I did not notice any dead bodies lying on the field or any such thing and TCU is getting ready for spring practice with new arrivals. Anything and everything to humiliate a bunch of hard working kids who had a special season in a rebuilding year no less...talk all you want and brag all you want but you cannot take away what this team did this year. ESPN experts and others are saying that TCU will never get over this loss. Will Tennessee get over the fact that SC scored 63 on them and SC is not Georgia and get over the fact that Georgia has beaten them six in a row with one being a 41 - 0 rout in Knoxville for goodness sake. Will Clemson get over the 70 points WV scored on them in the Orange Bowl a few years ago....will Ole Miss get over the 42 - 3 licking that TCU gave them in the 2014 Peach Bowl, the Ole Miss that beat Alabama that year. Will Wisconsin get over the beating they took from Washington in the 1960 Rose Bowl when they were supposed to be untouchable much less beatable? Football is very, very small potatoes compared to what our precious America is now facing from evil and wicked America hating people in our own government. Georgia won, I get that....but are Georgia fans more healthy, more prosperous, prettier, wiser, or otherwise after this game? TCU lost big time, I get that too....but these kids are hurt enough without the constant barrage of garbage from several sources. Let it go for goodness sake!

Not gonna read that novel, but in response to your first sentence............ lol what

Funny part is, Georgia had their second and third string guys in the 4th quarter to simply run out the clock……and TCU still couldn’t stop them! Those backups were just as good as the first string!

Josh, "Audacity to Dominate" is why Miami collapsed after Butch Davis left. Larry Coker, Randy Shannon, Al Golden, Mark Richt and Manny Diaz were not dominant personalities, they tried to 'Nice Guy' their way into wins. The results speak for themselves.....

Go Vols. Georgia is the standard. That’s who we’re chasing. Alabama - Beat LSU - Beat Clemson - Beat We took out the 2015-2020 champions. Now time to take out the 2021-2022 champions. Congrats Dawgs.

This was like watching somebody armed with a musket, going up against somebody armed with a mortar It wasn't pretty., Basically they got smoked It takes longer to smoke a side of brisket, or ribs than it took Georgia to take care of TCU. In another pre-game warm-up, he was telling his team" I'm hungry I want to eat do you? If you do go out and get it, that was his way of telling the team push it till it breaks. All I can say is for Georgia this was all you can eat., And TCU ended up being on the menu .

Yeah, about that... but that was a good game, so can't complain that we lost to Nick Saban for the final time.
