Charles Doyle I agree, he also got tired of the ass chewing he was getting! Even tho he acts like a frat boy he did not deserve to get humiliated in front of players, other coaches, and the fans, even on TV! I saw an article about the incident and this reporter was saying he had never heard such words coming out of someone’s mouth! Now that’s pretty bad! He said he was on the field watching and Lane didn’t say a word! 10 or 15 days later he was fired and Coach Sark coached the championship game that we lost! Saban and his big ego lost him another NC! Don’t get me wrong Coach Saban is the best thing we’ve had since THE BEAR!

@kylechrestman69554 жыл бұрын
I second that. I find myself rooting for Bama when they aren’t playing my Vols. I root for them because year in/out they are the SEC’s best chance at bringing championships to our conference. Plus there is no one else I’d rather have coaching against Clemson or Ohio State. Saban has been the face of our conference and college football since about 2007. He had one slightly above average year his first year at Bama, I think that was ‘06. Since then they have been in the hunt for a National Championship EVERY SINGLE year since then. The only time they lose in big games is when they play a generational talent like Zeke Elliot at OSU or Trevor or Deshaun from Clemson. He rarely gets out coached, they just get outplayed. They don’t get flagged for dumb penalties or lose control of their emotions. Saban has been one the best at developing talent since he’s been coaching. As I said, I’m a die hard Volunteer for life, but Nick Saban is the best there is, best there was, and the best there ever will be.

He got called a fraud by the owner of the Raiders, got penalized by the NCAA for openly accusing a head coach of cheating without proof, left Tennessee after one year, left at tarmac when coach at USC, and got lazy his last year at Bama costing them a championship. Lane Kiffin to Bama. You heard it here first
@pattepenntrimm4 жыл бұрын
Would you like to have to Kiffin as a subordinate? He has to be managed on and off the field. Folks like that can be a cancer in an organization and destroy a program. When he shows such public disrespect to his boss, how can the boss have the respect of the other 100!people in his organization? You make this out to be a Saban problem. He knew who Saban was when he came. I’m sure he had heard all the stories. Not many people would be nice to someone that shows them disrespect. Kiffin can be nothing but a boss. Ever. He must have been hellish in elementary school. There is a reason he was fired on the tarmac and that Tennessee wanted to name a waste disposal center after him...
@samuelsmithmed2144 жыл бұрын
He made our offense absolutely prolific at the time and utilized the talent we had in the best way possible. While we have had more talent on offense since he left it hasn't been put to the best use possible. Feeding Derrick Henry even though he's a pass happy coordinator and getting Calvin Ridley tons of shots down the field on play action plays. He was all over the prospect of Tua in his offense and even made comments about how bad he wanted to play him when he was in South Florida. You can still see his roots engrained in our offense today because of his famous bubble screens with superior talent against less talented teams. While you are absolutely correct about the on and off the field stuff, and him co-existing with Saban being a cancerous relationship. He transformed our offense.
@pattepenntrimm4 жыл бұрын
Samuel Smith Med you are correct. He has a brilliant mind. I think he will be the first to defeat Saban...nearly did at UT. But I believe he was very disrespectful and eventually that can drag an organization down. He did change the way our offense worked, but Saban was looking for that...if not Kiffin he would have found someone else. Saban is like the Beatles: surviving because he realizes change is necessary. He is always looking for new ideas and trying to be better, not thinking he is the best and has nothing to learn.

@ButlerOTKing3 жыл бұрын
Obviously, I don't really know, so this is just my opinion. I think Kiffin respects Saban. He has constantly praised him since he left Bama, in both interviews and on his Twitter page (unless he is possibly trolling). I don't think he is. I think it was more of Kiffin still not being mature as he needed to be while he was at Bama. Saban was quick to chew him out, and deep down, Kiffin probably knew he deserved some of them. I think the oil and water comparison is fair. Kiffin has done a pretty good job at Ole Miss, so maybe a few of those sideline tongue lashings were what he needed. If I were coaching, I would rather work for no one but Saban. Sure, you get yelled at occasionally, but how cool would it be to learn from the greatest to ever do it??

Lain Kiffin is a decent coach. He’s a player’s coach as well. He has went threw some high paying jobs. And there’s a group of you, that want to lift him up as an offensive god of college football. Well of course he’s not. He didn’t get fired for no reason . Now did he leave Tennessee or did Tennessee strike a deal, that they would pay him but he take the blame. I don’t think we will ever know that. You know the saying money is the root of all evil. I know there’s a lot of Haters out there these days. And I know your alls attention span is short. Now you will listen to a video but you want read the transcript because your lazy. Not really your fault, you have been conditioned. This world has a lot of aggression which fans have been striking out with. It started with trash talking and telling down right lies. A lot of favorite sport shows became popular from the content and trash talking. It has become common to show no respect to teams they don’t like. There is some Georgia fan based shows on college football that promote this. You would think there fans were all pro wrestlers running their big mouth. This is growing and is Alienating Georgia fans. There is Notre Dame which people love to hate. But they have fans all over the world. And makes the haters look stupid. Tennessee has there share of haters but fans all over the world. But that’s going to slowly die out because of the attitude of fans these days. It’s like a generation of them. ( the hater generation) And people wonder why we have so many shooters out there. Or why we have so many murders in Chicago. I am not going overboard. Trash talking is Dehumanizing. Games on the internet is Dehumanizing. Politics is Dehumanizing. But greed has no Conscience. No I want name the shows and this show isn’t one of them. This shows is one of the best out there. This show did predict LSU possible Championship at the beginning of that year. When no one else had a clue. And yes I think they can do it again. And you don’t hear trash talking from Josh or the hoist. So maybe you take his example Georgia fans and watch people join the party. Yes I am saying party, you have a year as Champions. Growing your fan base, well it only takes showing respect. Everything else takes care of itself.
