I tried a 24 hour survival challenge on a tropical beach with no food, no water and no shelter, only a knife. This turned out to be a really difficult challenge due to the extreme weather. I ate wild food, saw monkeys and a wild dog, caught crabs and tried to make a shelter during a tropical thunder and lighting storm.

Bikini top could be used as a filter once you wash the sand out, plastic bottles can be used to sterilize water, made into cordage/fishing line, some of the larger leaves could have been used to "tarp" the roof. Love these videos.

I used to have an inhaler that looked like that. I remember seeing Les Stroud eating a sprouted coconut. I think he was in Costa Rica. I figured you were going for the heart of the palm. Hermit crabs are coconut crabs. Well, they grow into coconut crabs.

I've seem many of your videos but this is not one I appreciated ! 1. You did something stupid of throwing away the strew you found on the beach which can be used to drink coconut juice ! 2. If you were patient enough to use the rope you found to strength the fishing net, it could be your hammock ! 3. For your bed, you used big banana leaves as your bed sheet, you should use the wrong side which is dry, unfortunately you used the upper side which is wet. 4. The fallen door on the ground, could be used as the roof of your sleeping place to protect you from things that would fall from the roof of the house. The worse thing I found is you didn't light up a camp fire ! Anyway, I admired your courage of taking this kind of outrage challenge on deserted island in the tropical .... Thanks for sharing !

Great, interesting videos. Do wonder if you clear any of that plastic waste you find all over, especially as you say there's no one else to do it and the beach and nature give you so much supplying basically everything you need to survive and make your educational, good videos which also gives you a bit of income so be good if you gave back a bit to all the places you go to. Not having a go if you don't just making a suggestion. Keep it up and enjoy it.

The flirt the hermit crab was eating is edible. It’s the same green fruit you tried to stomp. You just have to find the red ones that are ripped and you can eat them and the seed you can crack them open and eat the nut inside. Me and my cousins used to eat those all the time. I don’t know the name but I think they taste good when they are ripe

I have an old friend that is a Christian Missionary, and he says that if you are on the beach and need fresh water, back up from the water's edge about 200 feet and dig down. He says that the sand filters everything out of it including salt. It works for fresh water lakes too.

I would use strains of the rope, to reinforce the net, in both directions so my weight will be on the rope and the net will hold the weaved rope in place... a bamboo frame and palm leaves [cut in half] would make a perfect shelter...

with the bra's i would make a harpoon with the elastic and a stick and use the metal frame as a spear tip also the net cups could be uses as a shrimp net or insect net for bait thread can be used for fishing line and also you could make hooks from the metal frames thats what i would do shoets could be nade into a bag for snails

7:55 It's a kind of nut that you can eat. We call it Woodnut (Kathbadam). If it's green then cut in half. You can eat the white part. And if it’s Dark red then you can the whole thing (first eat the outside red meat. It will be sweet and savory. Then cut the nut and eat the white part). Also 8:06 the woodnut tree is behind you.

To answer your question.....you can use that bikini like a makeshift water filter. Just put the two cups on top of each other and place wet sand in between. Then followed by activated charcoal which you get when you start a fire. Then followed by another layer of wet sand. There you go....the filter is ready. Now you just place it on top of an empty bottle, the top of which is removed and now you keep pouring unfiltered water on top of it from another bottle with the lid loosely closed, so as to let the water drop on top of the filter drop by drop. Let the whole set up like this and cone back after 45minutes or so.....there you have filtered water at the bottom of the other bottle
@shankhadeepmandal978
@shankhadeepmandal978 5 ай бұрын
Ofcourse you must clean the bikini thoroughly first....use the wood ash you get from starting a fire. It acts as a wonderful cleaner and sanitizer. The caustic soda and caustic potash present within the wood ash is a natural sanitizer and cleaner. Ofc, it wont give you any lather or wonderful smell like real soap.....but it will do your purpose
