I am building a primitive bushcraft and survival shelter in the woods using basic hand tools. the bark roof shelter was constructed with ‎@TAOutdoors using cedar bark a few years ago. It's now time to break it down and build a bigger and better shelter by reusing the materials.

A pegged structure like you are building is incredibly solid and strong. In fact I think it beats nails in strength. I will wait for the next video series to see this build... Thumbs Up!

There he IS!! Taking down the Wigwam... has it Really been 3/4 yrs? Interesting...Take care of those hands! We miss ya face, show it more often! You need more colors and bigger sizes. I don't see any hoodies either. I need to buy more since all my stuff, including kuksa was left in Florida.

Honestly this was a genius way to plug your tools just before the Holidays. I hope your new shelter inspires others to go ahead and try adventuring on their own (with maybe the added bonus of using some of your products).

Sad to see the wigwam go, but then they don't last forever. Can't believe it's been so long, time flies. Off the ground A frame shelter sounds really neat, it'll be an interesting build. 👍🏻❤️

In case anyone reads comments like i do, i own one of Dustins fire piston and use it. With the compartments for Vaseline and charred cloth plus the ferro rod it is a complete kit. I have a couple fire pistons and his is the best of them. Thanks for the great videos bushcraft brother, i look forward to seeing the completed shelter.

where do you get more of the charred cloth?
@HillbillysNdaBush
@HillbillysNdaBush 6 ай бұрын
@@sherryd0049 Dustin has some on his website, or you can make it if you have the time. Charred material can be made in the bush with different woods and grasses.
