i just put two boards together for the kids... i used mini logo trucks, wheels and bearings, they came as a pack... and a 7.5 deck enuff deck. i got a second as the graphic was scratched.. truck pack was £40 and the deck was £20... so a decent board for £60 .. it rides really well.... a good middle ground for parents struggling. hope this helps somebody !!!

My first was a Batman graphiced board with I want to say metal trucks but they might have been plastic. It's hard to see from the pictures. Had a tail block, nose protector and rails. My main memory of it though is that it hardly rolled. No idea where I got it from back in '90 or '91.

@@ZackDowdy I wouldn’t know what to use them for to be honest. The structural integrity of the center of the board gives out much quicker than any serious chipping of the nose tends to occur.

I think the idiom " where there is smoke there's fire" works on a basic investigatory level when it comes to these boards. Meaning, if they worked well, that's where the industry would be.

My first board was this $35 Airwalk complete from Big 5. The wheels were super sketchy and had no pop lol. My first legit setup was a 7.5 Darkstar with Silver mids and wheels from Boarders.

There are two classes of cheap boards: cheap junk and cheap but ridable. If you're not sure how into skating you're going to get, then a cheap skateboard can be a good choice, especially for little kids who might ride it once or only bum-board with it. But it's always better to get the board from an actual skateboard shop, they won't sell cheap junk.

$20 dollars for rails? Seems a bit much for pieces of plastic that go under the board. I would have just gone for some pig rails for half the price or Enjoi tummy sticks for a quarter of the price and upgrade those Bones Reds to some china 6 balls or Bronson G3s

When I was starting out in the early 2000s older kids were stoked on me, an out of place youngin, trying to learn and they helped me learn to drop in and roll off of stuff now days when I see a younger cat trying to learn something like at a park or something they seemed discouraged it seems I'm the only person EVER who is willing to step up introduce myself and help em out and it makes them feel like it's okay to be a beginner

First real board was a josh kalis alien workshop. Fury trucks. Ghetto child wheels. Lucky bearings. Shorty's HDWR. I bought 10 $45-60 completes from skatewhare house to give to kids riding Walmart and junk boards. The almost completes I got with tensor trucks are pretty legit for as cheap as they were.

Those boards are so dangerous. Just the fact that thy roll like shit and stop instantly when you land something. If you van actually do something on it. Alone thats dangerous as he'll. I'd rather go to ccs or something like that for my kids first deck or something like that. At least I know it's a little safer than that Wal-Mart crap.

Everything is made china these days anyway. I paid 300 for a Natas Kaupas reissue deck with independent trucks with peralta slime wheels . All this from a skate shop. Now if i went on aliexpress i could have bought all that for half the price. So i think it's WHERE you buy from. And yes it is legit from Alibaba because IT'S MADE in china. Spitfire wheels are 30 bucks on Ali. You go to a skate shop and you will pay alot more.

It's really just not a good skateboard, at all. People should avoid them entirely. It's a waste of $25 or so. The cheapest real brand complete skateboard is only like $89 or. If anything go with those instead.
