I love IT! Your choice of items is so great and comfy. Unlike others which suggest expensive electronics or complicated apps (i have nothing against it! ), you just use a normal notebook and a candle to be productive.......so good!

Tips for people without a desk. Put down a study blanket or use a study lamp that you only turn on while studying. Preparing them the day before helps with making it easier to start..

Some alternatives that I've used: -for the notebook --> journal or sketchbook -for the poly folder --> clipboard, accordion folder, binder -for the academic planner/to do list/calendar --> Bullet journal, digital tools like google drive/keep -for alarmy (which I also use) --> a cheap wifi enabled smart light (eg $15 wiz from walmart) for a sunrise lamp -for miscellaneous bag items --> a small pouch with all the essentials so I can move them between bags easily (gum/mints, sanitizer, tissues, small scissors/stapler/washi tape, chapstick, snacks, portable charger, extra masks, watch, etc.) I get a lot of my container type items from Muji, Miniso, Ikea, or Dollarama/Walmart (in BC in Canada). I recommend keeping things modular, so you can swap categories of items between bags suited for different outtings!

Moleskine is a good brand but I find the covers tend to separate and wear out before the notebook is full. You can repair them with duct tape, but I ended up getting a leather cover to keep mine in. "field notes" is another good brand.

I really needed one of your videos, Ruby. One of my professors just sent an email to me and my classmates saying he will not be our teacher this year. I'm feeling terrible, because he's a really valid professor, the lessons with him were always so nice to follow. The entire class is very sad about this news. Even if this year I changed school in march and spent barely four months there, therefore with that teacher, I'm really upset... Now at least I can relax watching your new video (and probably other videos, especially the readathons!)
