@@SO-om2yy Salsa chicken. Throw some boneless skinless chicken breast in a crock pot with a jar of salsa on low for 6-8 hours. Take out the chicken and shred it with two forks and stir it back in to the crook pot. You can eat it like that, use it to make a taco or quesadilla using a low cal wrap, over cauliflower rice or a baked potato, or over eggs in the morning. Sometimes I add chili powder and cumin or throw in some peppers, onions or other vegetables into the crock pot in the morning. Really good and super easy.

My favorite of all these is cottage cheese! It’s sooo good, I can eat it when craving something salty OR when craving something sweet I am a big fan of tiramisu so I experimented with cottage cheese to try to bring the tiramisu into the circle ⭕️ That’s how I’ve found one of my favs breakfast: 1. Get some oats (I usually use 1/3rd or half a cup, that depends of how big of a portion you want) and just as you would let oatmeal sit in milk or water overnight, let it sit in COFFEE. Trust me, it works XD 2. In the morning bake it in the oven or the microwave for a bit just to change its texture, to be more cakey 3. For the tiramisu filling use: cottage cheese, greek yoghurt and some protein powder (I usually use vanilla) I also like to put more cottage cheese than greek yoghurt so that it’s more thick 4. Put the filling over the baked oats and sprinkle some cacao on top. You don’t need a lot, just a bit This is really low calorie, high protein and DELICIOUS. Feels like a dessert, it’s amazing XD Even just the filling itself is delicious: cottage cheese + greek yoghurt + protein powder

These are very helpful ideas. I’ve been in maintenance for a couple months now. During my fat loss I had to focus on food volume to help with my hunger. God I was so hungry. I should have gone slower and or taken more diet breaks to help with the hunger hormone not getting so intense. During my fat loss I had to learn new behavior and what foods I liked to eat, what could I sustain for the rest of my life - not a fad, not keto, not anything, just what I could do for the rest of my life. My entire life I have struggled with my weight and disordered eating. I am finally free of all of it. It took me a year a very focused work. I’m still learning. I have never been so happy and enjoy food so much. My blood is excellent too. Now I’m focused on putting on some muscle. I’m excited.

Greg a whole egg has the best and most complete amino acid profile of any food for muscle building. But when you leave out the yellow yolk you lose much of the benefits including all-important muscle-building amino acid Leucine. I eat a lot of whole eggs every day and then eat fewer calories from the other less protein-efficient foods. Eggs have a protein utilization efficiency of about 48% while meat, chicken, fish are about 32% biologically available for muscle-building protein. Plus the fat in eggs are used by your body to make hormones like testosterone.

What about cholesterol
@stevenintexas6947
@stevenintexas6947 2 жыл бұрын
@@JaysonReadsTheWord Do your research. The diety cholesterol myth was disproven many years ago. In fact, Cholesterol is used in the production of hormones like Testosterone. By not eating the yolk you are missing out on the most important muscle-building amino. Of course, a whole egg has more calories but then eat less of other junk to keep your total daily calories where you want them.

COACH GREG- Can I eat Mango and Pineapple without gaining weight?! I know you won't believe this but I've been on 1500 calories per day for 8 months now, and gym 6 days per week for 1 year now, and have only lost TEN pounds. I'm decently yoked, but I'm jacked skinny fat now. 5' 8' 210lbs. I just can't seem to get the extra layers of fat off no matter what I eat. I'm now as of last week after cutting out every other little thing I could think of like yogurt, down to 2 eggs w/ mango for breakfast, chicken breast-broccoli-pineapple for lunch, and 3 eggs-broccoli-mango-pineapple-almonds for dinner. That's it!

Only thing I would caution is that pickles are high in sodium, so it might not be suitable for someone who has a problem with or is predisposed to high blood pressure. Other than that, great video coach, happy new year!

Pickles are great for salads. The juice on the pickle is enough to give it flavor without the use of dressing.

Besides egg whites, it is also not possible to get fat eating whole eggs. Even if I have not eaten in many hours, I can't have any more than 8 whole eggs in one sitting without being full. Most of the time 4-5 whole eggs is enough to satisfy me for many hours to come.

Chicken breast can be a trigger food. If i don't measure it and just let go i eat as many as I cooked. I stop after around 700-800g :D

Peanuts are a legume, which is technically a vegetable & easy to overeat 😂 so the ending was false lol Awesome vid Greg, I eat a lot of vegetables with cottage cheese and meat. I use to binge eat a lot, and the veggies, cottage cheese/Greek yogurt and meat combo keeps me full and I'm able to eat as much of it as I want. Cottage cheese, Celery, turkey lunch meat & 1/4 cup of toasted hemp seeds is my favorite 👍

Cannot lie, I wasn’t Sure how accurate this would be, but coming from an ex bodybuilder that used to be 260+ pounds with abs who ate a TON of food, i truly have a hard time even getting in 2000 cals a day with his meals. I eat lots of fruit, soup usually once a day, anabolic french toast and ice cream, lean meat, and plenty of popcorn and it’s seriously tough to eat 2000 cals. I fricken love it! Excited i found something that fills me up, tastes good, and can get me in decent shape!
