@@MrTurtlelicious It's a vanilla game mechanic, go through the settings and set freelook to a keybind (I forget what the default is). I changed the sensitivity as well for it.

@@llecade3261 Yes, you need to edit the text of a game file. In the mod description, there should be the path location of this file. Also in the description, there should be lines of code corresponding to the version you downloaded. Paste the code at the end of the file, then change the key bind to what you want. Make sure to have your in game keybind set to what you want your laser to be and have the keybind in the code set to what you want your flashlight to be. If this sounds confusing, join my discord and ask for help in the questions page, myself or the community can walk you through it.

@@ImperialKnight86 I highly recommend check out VoltsCorp YT channel, he posts a reskin/retexture tutorial. Also check out the Unofficial RoN Modding website which lists different steps and tools you need to create mods. For retexture mods, you will need to know how to use a photo editing software (I use GIMP), FMOD to extract game files, Unreal Engine to convert files, and batch files to package your mod, alongside understanding the game's file/folder structure.

how did you put the m5 unity? because i put the mod in the game, and it doesn't show for me, but the exps3 unity appear for me. ( my english is kinda bad sorry for the mistakes)

@@matheusgaigher1190 I understood perfectly. The EXPS3 version replaces the ATACR optic and the Comp M5 version replaces the SDR optic in game. You can have both at the same time since they don't affect each other. If one is working and the other isn't, then there is 2 potential reasons. 1. The gun you are using doesn't have an SDR optic to begin with. Check other vanilla weapons to see if the attachment shows up since only certain guns have the SDR optic. If you are using a modded gun, also make sure it has the SDR optic so it can be replaced. 2. If you checked that and still are having issues, then another mod is conflicting with it. Make sure that there isn't another mod that overwrites the Comp M5 version. If there is, try placing the Comp M5 mod later in your load order (after other conflicting mod). To test for conflicting mods, load the game with only the EXPS3 and the Comp M5 versions installed, and go in game to see if the attachments show up. Once you establish the 2 mods are working alone, install mods one at a time, testing to see if the mod you added to the list is compatible with the current list. Keep adding mods until you get a problem, then you will know the exact mod that is causing the conflict. If you are still having issues, join my discord server , link in description, so myself or someone else can walk you through it.

I also recommend getting the legit copy of the game to solve your issue. I can only speak on behalf of my game's version, I've never had mods crash my game unless the mod was bugged or it exceeded the performance of my PC. I appreciate your drive to play the game and your support for mod creators by using mods, but plesse support the developers for this banger of game and buy the damn thing, lol.

@@chayseday875 Make sure all mods you download are updated or published past July 23, 2024. This is when the game updated to a new game engine, which broke mods on the older one. Your game will not losd and will crash if you have an outdated mod installed.

Using vortex mod manager is highly recommended

@@Wemakemoviesofficial Not all mods are supported by Vortex, like audio mods, but will have an option to sort by date. On the nexus mods website, there is any option to sort by publication and updated date, so anything after July 23 is made for the new UE5 game engine. Anything before that is made for the previous game engine and will crash your game.

@@peppefetishvsmondo5966 So the belt I am using is the Supporter FISA Battle Belt which has a pistol holster attached. The LSPD Shaw Belt is the same belt style just without rope, and is not exclusive like the supporter gear is.

@@peppefetishvsmondo5966 The 2 belts I mentioned are vanilla belts. Only supporters have access to the FISA battle belt, but the LSPD Shaw Belt is unlockable. There is a mod called Customization Unlocked that unlocks all customizations items if you don't have it unlocked already.

@woodsy.2977 I know watching the video throughout is hard, but they are quality of life mods that fixed game breaking bugs. I still secure every civi as everyone should, the game had the "move to exit" bug for civis and the mod fixed that. SWAT AI would also shoot through civis' chests when a suspect takes them hostage at gunpoint, and with my ai mod, active shootings start as soon as the mission starts, so the other mod removed getting penalized for civi deaths. These mods are optional, but are made for people roleplaying realism. If others want to run and gun and shoot everything that moves, to each their own, just unfortunate I have to explain that to you.
