I remember hearing that Michael Keaton was cast as Batman and everyone shocked by that. He had just done Beetlejuice and other comedy movies before so it was strange that he would be cast as Batman. But it turns out he did a damn good job in that role.

Loving that shirt, Mike! Also love that you included something about Back to the Future, too! Seen that trilogy so many freaking times! 🤩 Anyway, when the original Star Wars(later given the addition to the title "Episode IV: A New Hope) first premiered in 1977, George Lucas initially thought the film would be a flop, but boy, was he ever proven wrong! From the movies to books, from tv series to toys and action figures, and even its own area in DisneyWorld/DisneyLand, the Star Wars franchise proved to be an extremely phenomenal and profitable franchise over the years, with a huge number of fans of it all over the world! 😃🤩

My favourite pieces film trivia, the blood in Pyscho was chocolate because Hitchcock thought the fake studio blood, didn't look right, and he figured because it was shot in black and white no one would know at the time. Then there's the rain in Singing In The Rain that was laced with milk, to make it more visual, I've always hoped it was diluted, hopefully powder milk, otherwise, not sure it did anything in the studio, under it any good.

Adam West, who played Batman in the 60's was asked to take over the part of James Bond after Sean Connery had a falling out with the producers after You Only Live Twice (he did come back to do Diamonds are Forever, though). West turned it down, saying that the role should go to a British actor. So they went out and got George Lazenby, an Australian actor, instead. Burt Reynolds and Clint Eastwood were also asked about taking the role, but they turned it down, too.

If a child wants animal they saw in a film, take them to the zoo, etc or buy them a toy version and get them a child friendly book on keeping pets. You could also introduce them to nature documentaries and a hobby like bird watching. That way they may realise pet owning is a serious responsibility.

Another aspect of the actors playing the munchkins is many of them took the role as a way to get to America to avoid persecution as the holocaust started. People with dwarfism were considered "undesirables" by the Nazi regime, so they viewed the call to appear in the movie as their method of escape.

With how AI and computer generated scenes are coming along, I am sure that one day we won't need the actual actors for a film. So a younger Bill Murray and a good story, it could look like an actual movie. Until it becomes easier to put together, then we would need to wait. Probably not long though.
