Paying someone else for an endorsement (such as a positive review of a business, etc.) False endorsement. 23. Making false statements of so called "facts" about another company. Internet defamation, defamatory statements that injure another person or business. 22. Harvesting email addresses and SPAM. Must honor "opt out" requests. 21. Using a name, image, or likeness of another for your commercial benefit without their consent. "Right of publicity". 20. This is copyright infringement. 12. Downloading or using images of minors without permission. 11. Copyright infringement-- using a photo or image on your internet homepage without permission or purchase. Can result in up to $150,000 fine! Give credit wherever credit is due. 10. Failing to abide by ADA laws on a commercial website. Must provide accessibility on a website for users who may be blind, deaf, suffer motor skill deficiencies, etc. 9. Underage access to websites, social media where an age is identified in "terms of service". 8. Faking or impersonating another on an account. Creating fake accounts. 7. Illegal movie, music, TV shows download or access that is then streamed-- especially for a fee! 6. Accessing the "dark web" with special VPNs, tools, engines, etc. 5. Googling nefarious things such as "how to make a bomb". 4. Exposing personally identifying information leading to another person. Violation of privacy of another. 3. Cyber bullying. The Department of Justice was set to issue some guidelines, then I think they backed it up until 2018, so could be on the horizon. In Arizona, one lawyer just filed 4 federal court lawsuits on this issue, so it is here and now as well.

Blaming the voters for what Frank? What law are you having a hard time with? Most people understand that voters elect politicians, and politicians pass laws. The politicians are "representatives" of the people, so when they pass a law, conceivably it is to benefit the people, their constituents. So if they screw it up (or pass an "unconstitutional law" as some are saying) that could not have been accomplished but for the voter that put the politician in office. Yes, the politician should not escape scrutiny either, but at some point everyone needs to have a sense of accountability. So which law do you claim is unconstitutional? Let's take a look. Thanks

I was getting about 10 emails a day from strange women who send lewd photos. I sent the information to the FTC. I don't know how they got my photo. I blocked them but they still appeared in my spam emails. Someone stole my photo and put it on a adult porn website. I am very upset.

I don't think you are digesting this correctly. Defamation is the key problem, you can leave good honest reviews, but false and defamatory reviews can potentially lead to problems.

Thank you Steve for enlightening us for the appropriate ways to avoiding an act against the law. I'm pretty sure some aren't aware of this act that their committing. The law isn't a playground it's strictly prohibited all actions will be prosecuted.
