The first one about the horse was not to establish all four hooves touch the ground when running. It's the exact opposite. It was to prove the suspicion that all four hooves left the ground at once, hence leaving the horse in a momentary state of hovering.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail was mostly made with money from the sales of Pink Floyd's The Wall. Pink Floyd were such big Python fans that they'd stop recording sessions to watch The Flying Circus. When they heard that Monty Python was trying to make a movie but couldn't get the money, they willingly gave them a good percentage of the album profits from The Wall, no strings attached.

I have long suspected critics of faking reviews, This is why I like KZbin. I would like to see a list about animals in films and if they got hurt or not. or a list on times actors got hurt. Also a list of movies that never got made even though years of time and money went in to them and they actually made stuff for it or a list on props and costumes reused from other films. or a list of film locations you can actually visit. or a list of historical facts films got right or wrong. Actually a lot of ideas now. I have seen plenty of trailers that lied to me too that can be good if it attracts people but it can also chase them off. I try not to watch too many trailers. I wonder what sort of Hitchcock movie would have been filmed at Disney Land? a list about people related to famous people would be fun too. I do some times wish we could go back to how things used to be in Hollywood when the news about actors just covered them having parties and playing golf and hanging out pol side and it looked like they all knew each other.

In movies and television, Lassie was always played by a male collie. Ken Weatherwax, the actor who played Pugsley Addams on the original 1964 Addams Family, was related to Lassie's trainer Rudd Weatherwax. Shirley Temple was the original choice for Dorothy in The Wizard Of Oz. When it was found out that Mel Brooks was going to produce The Fly, many people assumed that the film was going to be a comedy. When Olivia Newton John appears in the film Grease wearing her skin tight leather outfit, the reactions of her male co-stars are real.

I am, in the indi circles, a screenwriter and producer- having one film presented at Lionsgate and two features under option. One thing you did not mention is politics. Hollywood and Washington, DC are in a marriage of convenience. If you write a film and want a chance of getting it produced, you must keep in mind that the two (Hollywood and the government of the USA) are slaves to each other. If you want a real chance of your film being made, as a writer or producer; you must cater to the winds of political fancy and place flowers upon them. Look to history, beginning with Theodore Roosevelt. He is the man that placed the ring upon Hollywood and began the modern model of media politics. Hollywood is a political tool and nothing more- yet this tool has extraordinary power. Why do the political opinions 'matter' of various actors and actresses? It is part of the symbiotic relationship between them. Modern politicians cannot gain power without the Hollywood media- and those in power in Hollywood won't support those that oppose the Academy ideals. The end result- There's a reason why universities refer to media studies as the, 'liberal arts'. If a liberal politician (typically Democratic) is available, Hollywood will support said person. In return, said liberal will support the education/indoctrination that Hollywood can sell using the present factions of lies to the world. In the USA presently, Hollywood is mostly supportive of the Democratic party. It does not matter what the truth may be; 'symbiotic survival' is paramount. Look for yourselves. Can you see Conservatism, Christianity and historic family values being extolled and endorsed in Hollywood today? No. A few folks speak out but they are quickly quenched. So, if you want to make a movie you must adhere to the Democratic liberal agenda. A personal address to Hollywood- Kiss my ass. You're as trapped as you think you have Washington DC trapped. You have lost your ability to think.

#8 “The Jazz Singer” was the first film to have some dialogue and singing. There were previous films which had pre-recorded musical scores interspersed with sound effects. One of the earliest (don’t know about THE first) was 1926’s “Don Juan” starring John Barrymore. The music is quite nice, but the sword fights are punctuated by someone swishing steak knives together which don’t match the action. Some films had select scenes with dialogue intended for theatres wired for sound. The first fully scored, full dialogue film was “The Lights of New York” (1928).

In another case of irony, 24 years after Psycho, Walt Disney Productions were the first studio to express interest in making A Nightmare On Elm Street. Of course, it would've been a complete different film from the one we know and love today, but thankfully, director Wes Craven turned their offer down and went with New Line Cinema. Incidentally, the production almost drove New Line Cinema to bankruptcy, but the film ironically saved the company. So since then, New Line Cinema has been referred to as "The House That Freddy Krueger built."

He did so bringing attention to Black Americans and their art and culture. He was fighting racism. He performed in Black Face as a representation of Black Americans as he could get in because of the Jim Crow/Black Face shows created by the Democrats. Yes, it was Democrats that created the racist Jim Crow and other Black Face Shows. And the Democrats made Jim Crow Laws. If you studied history you would know that. Movie previews/trailers misleading the viewer isn't something that affects me in the slightest. I stopped watching trailers years ago, including "next week..." teasers at the end of tv episodes. I'm the same with books - if I go to the library I will choose books based solely on the title and the author, without reading the synopsis on the back cover. I stopped reading those and watching any preview material for anything after a friend loaned me a book and recommended that I just read it without checking out the synopsis. I did, and was gripped for the entire story. I read the synopsis _after_ finishing the book and, much to my surprise and horror, there was something mentioned in it which actually revealed a massive twist which didn't happen until about 40% into the story. I realised that tv previews and movie trailers can (sometimes) do the same thing, and vowed never to watch any ever again. I understand that this approach won't work for everyone but it does me fine.

Then, he pushes forward on the cyclic pitch stick and the tail swings around and tears up the guardrail. If you push forward like that, you would fly forward and crash into it. My cousin's story was told to us grandchildren as a cautionary tale to not go to Hollywood my grandpa said never go out there with out a good education and a plan b and a exit plan..my cousin and I are not her exact doppelgangers but there's a good enough family resemblance that we probably could have attempted it when we were younger and I'm not being vain or anything please don't misunderstand this but my cousin and I when we were younger probably have some Hollywood executive drooling because of the family resemblance to Miss Linda and the family connection but we're now in our mid 30s and early 40s and I probably look like comedian Vicki barbolack and my cousin looks more like Jackie from Rosanne after three kids and a domestic life lol..but she chose to be a drug and alcohol mentor and counselor and I chose visual arts and autism awareness ( pro autism) I have Asperger's and physical challenges but they don't have me ..but when we were younger we heeded grandpas warning.. because he saw what Hollywood did to his beloved cousin and it's sad Hollywood ruins not just lives but families anyway love your channel and content and please excuse my lack of punctuation my eyesight stinks... Huh? I always thought that Selznik didn't have to pay anything since he was quoting from a literary work. I suspect this is also how they were able to get away with using the "n-word" in "To Kill a Mockingbird" in 1963.

Many stars that are dead don't have stars which they need, these new stars don't need them no matter how many movies they made or tv shows for that matter their music

Best Supporting Actress was the only bullshit one to me. The supporting actress for Little Woman played her younger self as a jealous insecure younger sister and then as an older more mature go out and get what she wants adult! Why didn't she win?

To get Drew Barrymore to cry in the movie ET they gave her a dog that day and then right before she was to shoot that part they told her the dog got ran over by a grip truck and then they shoved in front of a camera while she was bawling her eyes out that's probably part of the reason she has trouble with alcoholism. if you want movie facts you should call me
