#256. What A HACK! DIY TRANSFER Films For Resin!
In todays Resin Art video we try an idea I had on how to get really crisp details and patterns in our resin art.
I haven't seen anything like this done before with resin in this way, it's such a simple idea yet works so well, especially with glitters as they are extremely hard to control.
This resin technique can be used with many ingredients too!

Tip to get rid of glitter on your desktop or any surface; Use a lint roller! It will pick it up, and you get a clean surface again.

Most guys aren't huge fans of glitter I don't think lol. My husband was a janitor back in the day at a Sunday school day care. I think he has legitimate glitter phobia now 😂

I have heard that glitter is considered “a crafter’s social disease” because once you come in contact with it, you never get rid of it. 🤭🤣🤭 Such a cool technique Daniel! This came on the perfect day! As I just took non glitter non colorshift pieces out of the molds and thought ewwww. So to hear how much you dislike glitter made me giggle and made me happier I made some without. And. . I have these teeny tiny photo frames and was looking for new things to put in them. I don't usually use tape, I just use a silicone mat. I think that would be good for large projects with less waste. Really pretty pieces, all of them.

@daniel..cooper One thing you could try if your glitter is too coarse and you want it finer… try using a pestle and mortar 👍🏻 I’ve done it before and it works 😁 You can almost turn glitter into a shiny mica like powder

WOW these all look awesome but I’m drawn to the silver and black heart, it looks absolutely beautiful. I love it. I’m going to try some of these, I have a lot of those small stencils. Thanks for facing the glitter for us. I used to. Liv3 with my daughter and she has a gentle giant of a frog who happens to be allergic to sand and glitter amongst other things so I never kept it anywhere in her house. Try coating the whole back of the piece with a thin coat of uv with a paint brush, then stick it down on your glittered stencil. Love the effect on this tutorial. Gorgeous colours 🌹❣️

This is great work as always Daniel. I've just done an experiment over on my channel, and I mixed glitter with UV resin and brushed the uv resin and glitter onto a stencil but this was done directly onto cured Epoxy resin and it worked great. This you have done I love love love. It's so crisp and clean. Great invention, as always ❤
