#256. What A HACK! DIY TRANSFER Films For Resin!
In todays Resin Art video we try an idea I had on how to get really crisp details and patterns in our resin art.
I haven't seen anything like this done before with resin in this way, it's such a simple idea yet works so well, especially with glitters as they are extremely hard to control.
This resin technique can be used with many ingredients too!

Tip to get rid of glitter on your desktop or any surface; Use a lint roller! It will pick it up, and you get a clean surface again.

I have heard that glitter is considered “a crafter’s social disease” because once you come in contact with it, you never get rid of it. 🤭🤣🤭 Such a cool technique Daniel! Those glitter bottles are the cutest things ever!! You could repurpose those as necklaces...fill them with nearly anything! Im a horsewoman from America (Ocala FL) and us horse ppl like to put small clips of our horses' mane in little bottles like these as pendants. Especially for our dear ones who have passed. They're huge sellers and very personal....these little bottles would work well for that. Love the video!!

@daniel..cooper One thing you could try if your glitter is too coarse and you want it finer… try using a pestle and mortar 👍🏻 I’ve done it before and it works 😁 You can almost turn glitter into a shiny mica like powder

Wow, what an interesting idea. I knew that I could have my mind blown by things I learn from KZbin videos and the comments section, but I was completely unprepared to fall madly in love with someone over their comment. Great, and now I have 101 more reasons why I need to aquire a mortar and pestal (which for some reason have been difficult for me to get my hands on, eluding me for years). They're not readily available in my neck of the woods and I am picky about their size and what they're made out of, and also I'm on a budget so I can't just order online.

Try coating the whole back of the piece with a thin coat of uv with a paint brush, then stick it down on your glittered stencil. Love the effect on this tutorial. Gorgeous colours 🌹❣️

I don't usually use tape, I just use a silicone mat. I think that would be good for large projects with less waste. Really pretty pieces, all of them.

WOW these all look awesome but I’m drawn to the silver and black heart, it looks absolutely beautiful. I love it. I’m going to try some of these, I have a lot of those small stencils. Thanks for facing the glitter for us. I used to. Liv3 with my daughter and she has a gentle giant of a frog who happens to be allergic to sand and glitter amongst other things so I never kept it anywhere in her house.
