Diabahra actually makes some good songs, if you're interested i recommend their albums Cyberpunk Machine and Harsh Poetry, it's still very extreme EDM, but worth a listen to.
@baraka6295 жыл бұрын
Absolutely recommend all of his works. Though splittercore and extratone aren't for everyone, he also makes some experimental (slower) tracks that people with more conventional taste in edm would appreciate more. "Austere Lights" for example.

fun fact: 1000+ bpm songs are called extratone because the kickdrums are so rapid and close together it becomes an extra tone.
@spiritedaway95816 жыл бұрын
Femto wait there is super tone?
@zerologic79126 жыл бұрын
Femto yeah I've heard that one from diabarha, the kicks just become this very high, annoying tone. BTW extratone is kinda cool, some people actually like it, but I don't particularly like it, I just wouldn't mind listening to it.
@one_step_sideways6 жыл бұрын
Femto No, the real reason why Extratone is called Extratone is because your brain can't actually keep up with 1000+ beats per minute, so it sounds more like a tone rather than individual beats.
@one_step_sideways6 жыл бұрын
Zero Logic Extratone right now is like 2000's speedcore, and because of that I don't listen to it very often. Hopefully it will evolve in the future. But for now I'd stick to Splittercore and Speedcore.

Extratone actually takes interactions with sound a step further. Before, certains element's could affect your body to help you to get song's mood. But This actually works purelly based on the way your body reacts to rythm; they're are not using the pulsations to improve your attention to melody, for an examplen, but to actually produce a feeling or mood by itself. But notice something, if you whant to do this kind of music: all extra tone start's with a silent part, and then it explodes...it's not a silent or chilled prelude, like in grunge or dubstep or any kind of music that relies on the dinamics of silent-noise sound configuration; they are preparing your body for the hard beat part, because if they don't, the sudden faster tempo with high volume can be disturbing, or even produce healt problem (because a fan's heart reacts to rythm, and if his chest constantly jumps from 0 to 100...well, the motor may get ruined...same for ears). To solve this, all the DJ's tend to use a silent, kinda chilled part with actually contais hard and speedy LFO beats that you don't hear, but your body feels, helping it by pre-working heart so the muscle don't experiment any kind of problem when passing from faster to extremelly faster. (this is for freshmen) Also, you can solve this limitation of starting always in silence, by develope the song from a diferent bpm with normal beat and then, slowly adding Silent Rithms down the main beats (wich even may allow you to even play faster), prepare the song for the Extratone part. (this is for pros). This is a tecnical trick that allows you to do something that, im my youth, was ACTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE, BECAUSE NOBODY WAS DOING IT...not really, this is like the wall of sound in the 60's, or leaving spelling mistakes in books on porpouse. So...you actually NEED to start a bit slower and softer. Sorry for my bad english; i'm still learning.
