such a great color. the old mtbs are the way to go. had a cannondale road bike from the same era and had to put shims in the drop outs to keep my 28c tires from rubbing the frame.

"Speed Yellow" . . . haha, yeah, I like it as well; 28 mm is the max I can fit on a Giant Peloton Superlite, cushy tires for me . . .

41x16 with a master link and a half link works on my Univega with little to no room in the dropouts. Nice single speed setup 🤘🏻
